Mel Kiper's 1st round Mock

Personally I don't feel Ducasse is a 1st round pick. Early second maybe but to take him at 18 would be a waste

Really? Maybe I'm going off of early reports or something. Mel Kipers draft here has us taking Bryan Bulaga 6'6 311 lbs OT who grades out at 91 and the 27th overall player. Ducasse grades out at 90 and is the 31st player, so he's in the same class as Bulaga. I haven't seen a mock draft yet with Ducasse in the 2nd round, maybe he is, and it's early still but I have no reason to assume Ducasse is a 2nd round talent. Could you explain to me why he's 2nd round material, or where you got your info from please?

It will really depend on the Senior Bowl workouts to me. I want to see how he handles higher level of competition before I feel comfortable with him being a 1st round pick.

Jason Pierre is a one hit wonder......rated way to high. This coming from a former USF Student. No way Jacksonville takes a DE.

and most mocks I've seen have Bruce Campbell rated pretty high. Would be awesome if he fell to Dallas. We definetly need to shore up the O-Line.

Taylor Mays will never play linebacker in the NFL. He's always going to be a deep prevent safety.

Problem with St Louis drafting a QB is that there is not a QB worth paying the 60 million dollars the #1 overall pick will command.

JPP doesn't look like a 1st round prospect to me. Why did it take until this year for him to perform? I would have rather him spend another year in college.

This was his first year in D1. The dude is just a raw talent. First generation Haitian/American started playing football as a Junior in HS, signed with UCF but didnt have the grades. Tore it up at JUCO and received offers from all the major programs.

Like I said, he's raw but has all the physical requirements 6'6", 265, an arm spand like an albatross, and explosive. I too would have liked to see him come back for his senior year, but his stock is just too hot right now. Look at Selvie, he was suppose to be a first rounder last year but decided to come back. Now he might not go till the 3rd.

The Chiefs didn't take a left tackle last year when a lot of people thought that they would, and they shouldn't take one again this year. They have Branden Albert. They took him at 15 two years ago. He's a natural left tackle with excellent potential. IMO, Okung isn't good enough to kick Albert over to right tackle...and Albert isn't powerful enough to play right tackle anyway. He's an athlete that is better suited for the left side.

The Chiefs need a play maker and a leader, not an offensive lineman. Jamaal Charles proved that he could get yards behind a shitty line this year. The Chiefs should look to upgrade their offensive line in the draft...just not in the first round at pick #5.

The Chiefs are probably going to have to reach again like they did with Tyson Jackson at 3 last year. Spiller and McClain are the guys I like right now.

Depends on what they think of Earl Thomas. If they think he's too small, they won't go DB at 15.

Unless McCain drops, they probably won't reach for a LB at 15.

They could go DT but it's not out of the question to go DE with Dunlap. A year ago, he was considered one of the best pass rushers.

I'd agree with you about Okung. Not sure about Spiller that high but McClain could possibly be an option.

I think Anthony Davis is the best OT in the draft, he would help stabilize that KC offense.

Otherwise, would Dez Bryant be a reach?

It was a joke. I don't see him going until at least the 4th round. Someone might gamble on him though. Depends on what he does at the combine.
