What's the point of the voice recognition for the dialogue in ME3? The tactical options make sense and seem to work but the dialogue stuff is just redundant and pointless. You say it and then Shepard just basically repeats it?
Oh wow, another multiplatform game, Ghost Recon. The voice recognition for the gunsmith weapon stuff was cool though. The firing range stuff? Not so much. Beyond dumb. Opening your hand to shoot? smh
So this is the NEW New Xbox Experience? LOL at new apps like YouTube and Bing. Just get a fucking browser already. But oh yeah, I forgot, then MS couldn't control every aspect of what you do that way.
Oh wow! I can watch tv on my TV! Yes! I've been waiting for this for years! And I'm sure they forgot to mention that this stuff will only work with certain ISP's, as is the case with ESPN.
Ok, so the UFC stuff seems cool. But what are the points all about? Do I win prizes? And why would I want to stream a pay-per-view even through my 360 instead of just ordering it to my tv? If my internet craps out I'm screwed.
And finally an exclusive, GoW3. But who hasn't seen or read about everything you need to know already? Some new campaign footage I guess...and Ice-T?

I'm obviously not the only one that has these opinions. There's a reason why MS has been consistently getting the worst show grades for this E3. Are you honeslty saying it was a good showing?
Unless by some miracle they blow me away in part 3 their show was awful. But I'm guessing part 3 will just be all the stupid kiddie Kinect shit I've been hearing about so it's only going to get 100x worse.

No I thought it was a shit show because I hate kinect but some of the points you made were so utterly retarded I really couldn't even comment. I'll go multi quote and just point some things out.
- MS will probably never put a browser on the xbox. I'm not 100% of the legality issue but MS is going to have a hard time for years to put IE into any of their software thanks to the anti trust lawsuit they lost a couple years ago. Installs of Windows 7 over in some parts of Europe and asia already come without IE installed and give you the option of going with other popular types (chrome, firefox ect) when you go through the install. Add onto it putting a browser on a console still seems silly to me.
- The whole watching tv on tv was really where I :facepalm: You obviously have missed the last couple years of people straight up giving up their cable tv or sat dishes and sticking with online streaming services only. It's pretty much the way of the future at this point and MS jumping into it and getting everyone they can on board is a really good idea from a business perspective. If I didn't have room mates there would be no cable tv in my house and I'd just be streaming everything from the internet.
- The gears stuff was basically the kick off to everything gears. You guys going nuts over Uncharted is the same thing. My buddy a huge gears player was loving it. I don't care for the game but I understand how much people love it.
The kinect can still die in a fire as I find it useless as all hell. Some of the stuff they showed with it was cool but when I game I'm not standing up and doing all that bs.

That is EXACTLY what they are doing. Their entire conference was about the Kinect. Even their biggest games were about Kinect. With ME3 instead of just showing us some footage they had to insist on showing voice control. Every single game had Kinect attached to it.

The Ryse game looks cool although none of that looked like actual game play. And I'm still in the boat of needing something tactile in my hands when playing these motion games, even if it is something like a Wiimote or Move controller. Just pretending you are holding a sword and shield just doesn't cut it for me.
Ok, so I'm confused. Can you play the Halo remake online competitive or not. I know the trailer makes it sound like you can but everything I've heard/read says that those 7 maps they mention are actually playable on Halo Reach.
Considering my copy of Forza 3 is still in the plastic I can't say I'm excited for Forza 4 although I now tons of people are. But again, this wasn't any surprise.

The Star Was game looks a lot better than I thought it would but the on screen movements are so laggy. And it looks like the enemies are dumber than rocks to compensate for the slow movements. Did I even see one get an attack off? It would be a great game for kids under 8 but that's about it.
As for Sesame Street, it's obviously not targeted to people like myself or others on this board, and that's fine. It seems like it would be an awesome game for parents and their young kids though. Plus everyone should support Double Fine because Tim Schaefer is awesome. It looks great as well. Very colorful.

I'm a little disappointed with how much Microsoft is pushing Kinect. I like Sony's strategy with the Move, it's there, if you want it, cool, if you don't, we still have a ton of stuff for core gamers. However, I was very excited to hear about the Halo: CE anniversary edition. I'll definitely be picking that up this fall.
So after the rumors this week of a developer having a dev kit for the next Xbox, and that it should be unveiled at next summer's E3, I'm beginning to think that Halo 4 is going to be released for it. Guess we'll just have to wait and see though.
