to be honest, I'm not too sure, I am trying to finish this season by Madden's release date and I know I will be playing that till the new year but if I get bored of it sometime I will give the game a whirl from time to time.
So yes, I may give it a go in season 2

Snider plays bigger than rookie

​

BOSTON, MA (AP) -- Most players are glad to have a home run, triple and double in the same week but a day after hitting all three, Blue Jays slugger Travis Snider was still unhappy.

"I wanted that single man, those aren't worth anything now." Snider chimed unhappily to reporters yesterday about his three hits.

Indeed, if Snider had only hit that single in his last at-bat he would have become only the third rookie to hit for the cycle in his rookie season joining Giants rookie Fred Lewis in 2007 and Nationals rookie Frank Robinson in 1962. Robinson went on to become a Hall of Famer and one of the best to play the game while Lewis currently holds down the starting left field spot for the New York Mets.

Even if Snider hadn't come so close to the magical milestone, expectations would be great for the kid Baseball America rated the number four prospect coming into this season. He is expected to become a middle of the order threat for the Jays for 7-8 years and according to one GM he has 50 home run potential.

"I think he is a talented player who could be a Hall of Famer some day." The GM, who wishes not to be named, said of the 23 year old.

Snider is only focused on one thing, making the team in 2010. Snider started on the team's 40 man roster this season but after a slow start was sent down to Triple-A Las Vegas for some conditioning work after the Blue Jays brought in veteran Jim Edmonds. Called up this month, Snider has responded, taking the starting left fielders spot after incumbant Adam Lind suffered a season ending injury earlier this month. Snider has been putting up torrid numbers, hitting .257 with 3 home runs and 19 RBIs and has put himself in good position for next year.

"Snider is a talented kid and I could definetely see him not only on our team next year but starting." Manager Cito Gaston said of the rookie.

Regardless of any expectations set for him, Snider will just be looking for that one extra single next time.
