lol, they have 7 games left and they are 6.5 back so they will prob not make it.
The Indians and Twins are only 2.5 games back in the Central race so they could make the playoffs but I think its down to me and the Yanks.

I agree, I wish the Yanks would have lost some in Boston but idk.
Felix is struggling this year but I can't underestimate him

Burres overcomes shyness to become elite

​

TORONTO, ON (AP) -- The quietest player in baseball is sulking at his locker after another short performance with the Baltimore Orioles. He silently removed his uniform, and slouched out of the bowels of Oriole Park without talking, or for the matter, looking at any of his teammates. Burres was the consummate outcast in the Orioles room.

"I can't say Burres wasn't liked because no one ever talked to him, I don't think he had one friend on the team." Star Orioles right fielder Nick Markakis said of his former teammate who was sent as compensation for the Orioles' signing of former Blue Jays catcher Gregg Zaun in the offseason.

Burres was coming off a terrible 7-10 season that including a ballooning 6.07 ERA and only 63 strikeouts. He had collided with manager Dave Trembley numerous times throughout the season according to teammates and when asked by a teammate following his last start whether he'd be back, he replied "F*** no."

"I was frustrated to say the least. I got the chance to perform in Baltimore but I just felt my stuff was notches lower than I knew it could be." Burres said earlier this season.

You can call him many things, but you cannot lable Burres lazy. Immediately following the season he retreated to his home in Lakeland, Florida where he threw '1000 pitches a day' and lifted weights for over three hours. He was not confident, however, when he learned that the Blue Jays had acquired him from the Orioles.

"I looked at their rotation online and I figured the BEST I could hope for was a relief job in Double-A and work my way up." Burres said, his smile flickering.

The fates would reward the 27 year old for his hard work over the Winter with a job in the rotation of the Jays' Triple-A affiliate Las Vegas 51's following a fantastic Spring in which he put up mind boogling numbers.

"I called up J.P. after we sent [him there] and I told him to keep an eye on Burres because I knew that kid would be up in the big leagues before long." Manager Cito Gaston said of his faith in Burres.

Gaston was only part right as Burres would put up terrific numbers in Las Vegas to start the season, but when it came time for the Jays to call up a pitcher for the rotation, they called up veteran Matt Clement, who had a lot worse numbers than Burres. A month later and a failed stint by Clement and the kid was a major leaguer. A major leaguer, who threw his first complete game in July and currently boasts a 7-4 record and 3.76 ERA and a foreseeable future in the Jays' rotation, even with the return of cornerstones Shawn Marcum and Dustin McGowan next season. But the best part about Burres' Blue Jays resurgence is according to clubhouse leader Vernon Wells "Brian is the most talkative guy I've ever met but I love him and everyone else does."

Quietest player in baseball no more.

I didn't bother posting them anymore because Cincinnati clinched it a while ago, they are leading by 21 games, lol.
Come to think of it, every playoff spot is clinched except the AL Wildcard and AL Central race.

Well I have 7 games left to make up 2 games so I'd say I need to win 5 or 6 at the very least depending on the Yanks.
