At least Snyder wants to win and spends his money on the team. If Shanahan is any indication (and I think the indicator was firing Vinny Cerrato) Snyder is going to try and keep things steady.
As for Angelos, I agree, but at least he hired a GM now who has kept up on things, unlike MacPhail, who never seemed to adjust from his time away from the game in the front office. He also hasn't spent as much as he should have, considering all of the work his law firm does. This season still doesn't atone for the years of penny-pinching and apathy, however.
They'll never win with Snyder. It's the ownership and everyone knows it. I've worked with employees there. I've been to that stadium. I've watched the team for his entire tenure. He can't build winner.
