Movies Everyone Else Loved, but You Hated

To the guy who can't sit through the Godfather -- If you don't like the Godfather, you shouldn't be in a thread about movies.

How could anybody not like The Matrix and The Godfather the first time they saw them? Those movies were both incredible. When I watched both for the first time I was blown away.

Palooza, you really didn't like Field of Dreams? That makes me sad in the pants. I loved that movie as a child. Who didn't?
 
Crash was another one..it couldn't have been more stereotypical (though this was sort of the point, they didn't pull it off well)

I thought it was good, actually. They made their point quite clear, IMO.

But I know a lot of people didn't seem to like it for whatever reason.

I wouldn't say I hated it, but like you, I loved the movie as a kid. I didn't see it for a whiiile, but I remember catching it on tv randomly and being really let down. I can't stand Kevin Costner for some reason at all.

Almost the same thing happened to me with Dances With Wolves which I should put up there, too. My aunt forced me to watch it when I told her I had only seen it when I was a kid. She hyped the shit out of it, so I was expecting awesomeness. I was bored for most of the movie.
