NBA 09/10 Gameday Thread

Nice win on the road for Portland last night without Roy or Bayless. Just stupid how short the bench is right now. 8 guys total who can play.
 
Blazers start out horribly but bounced back thanks to another good shooting night from Martell Webster and lead by 2 over NO at halftime!
 
Hawks won by 7 in Houston thanks to a 21-3 run at the end of the 2nd Quarter. After that, we led by double digits for basically the entire 2nd half.
 
Hawks had them Rockets looking silly. Feels good to get a win over them, they always seem to give us trouble. First win in Houston since 99. Josh Smith easily with player of the game honors. 22, 10, 4 BLK and 4 STL, that's 8 more stocks for TBOB readers. Josh Smith stuffs stat sheets like muthafuckin Santa Clause stuffs stockings. This dude is really starting to blossom into a big time player. Crawfense added 17 and the corpse of Mike Bibby even chimed in with 3-7 three point shooting. Joe with a typical workmanlike 20, 6 and 4.

Now 29-14, a full game ahead of Orlando and .5 back of Boston for 2nd in the EC. 60 wins is looking like a strong possibility.

I love how Chris Paul is a pretty dangerous shooter now. I remember how inconsistent his shot used to be, but he worked hard and now has a damn good jumper. That is why is my favorite player

That's like me saying Joe Johnson is my favorite player because he tries hard.
