Looking at the boxscores and calculating a little bit I came to the conclusion Sczcerbiak scored "only" 27 points:

That leaves 4 2-pointers = 8 points
And 4 free throws = 4 points

Pacers Exploring Trade Options For Area 51

Unless you lived under a rock during last year's NBA season, you caught a glimpse of Sean Williams, one of the most exciting young big men to come out of last years draft.

The Boston College alum with explosive leaping ability and quickness, Sean is an extremely mobile player who runs the court with ease and has no problems getting out on the break. Not to mention the ability to perform rapid jumps in succession to go along with a long wingspan and quick hands has made Williams one of the best shot blockers to enter the league in the past couple of years.

Then why is the sophomore forward only getting just over 5 minutes a game this season after averaging close to 18 minutes per only a season ago?

The Nets have a logjam in the frontcourt after trading for Yi Jianlian a season ago, drafting Ryan Anderson and Brook Lopez, and signing Eduardo Najera in the offseason. This leaves Williams very little time to get on the court.

The Grizzlies who are currently the second from last team in the Western Conference, put Darko Milicic on the trade block less than a week ago. The former 2nd overall pick in the 2003 draft, Milicic has hardly lived up to the expectations set for him by behind a 2nd pick and is currently on a 2 year contract worth about 14 million dollars. The Grizzlies, who had a significant amount of money to spend last offseason, chose to wait instead of attempting to match the Hawks offer to Josh Smith. But this year, many expect the Grizzlies to be bigtime players in the free agency market.

Darko's lucrative 2 year contract appeals to the Nets as they are lining themselves up for the 2010 Lebron James race while the Pacers have expressed their willingness to move Jeff Foster's 6 million dollar expiring contract to the Grizzlies and their interest in Williams.

The Nets would have to add another player, perhaps Trenton Hassell who at this point in his career is not much more than a bench warmer, to the deal in order for salaries to match.

Williams would take over the backup power forward spot on the Pacers depth chart and offer a shot blocking presence the Pacers so desperately need off the bench.

With Chris Wilcox's contract also expiring at the end of this season, should he choose to test free agency as opposed to returning to the Pacers, Area 51 could see himself as the Pacers big man of the future.​
