Optimistic Szczerbiak Hopeful For Game 5 Return

After suffering a separated shoulder injury in game 4 of the Pacers 1st round series against the Heat which has kept him sidelined for a little bit over a week, Wally Szczerbiak's injury status is now listed as day to day.

He is hopeful that the shoulder will feel good enough for him to play in Game 5.

"With the progress I made up to this point, it at least makes me feel good that I have another couple of days," Wally said. "But we'll see. Game 5 is what I'm shooting for. I'm itching to get back out there.", Wally was averaging 13.5 points before giving up his body as he chased a loose ball into the stands.

The Pacers are currently ahead in the 2nd round series 2-1 over the Sixers with game 4 scheduled for tonight at the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indiana.​
