For the first time since Dec. 6, 1982, no Sunshine State team was among the AP rankings on Sunday, marking the end of 472 straight polls where either Florida, Florida State or Miami -- and usually all three -- were on the list.

Jimbo Fisher is in his second year coaching the Seminoles after replacing Bobby Bowden, and Will Muschamp is in his first season taking over for Urban Meyer with the Gators. Al Golden is in his first season at Miami -- and clearly, there's some growing pains happening all over the place.

Adding to the ignominy of the weekend is this stat: Saturday was just the second instance since Oct. 14, 1978, that Florida, Florida State and Miami lost on the same day. It also happened Oct. 30, 2004.

Ok sportsbuck when are you going to agree this is the worst Buckeyes team since 99. In your write up of MSU game you couldn't remember the last time you saw such an inept offense in Columbus, I'll tell you, 1999. I was shocked Saturday night, and it wasn't in that weost, but that we played a shit ton better than I thought, but then miller goes down, (big surprise when you pull down and run as much as he does ) then we are stuck with bauserman, and I hat to say it, but he may actually be worst than Bellisari, certainly worst QB to start for OSU since, and that a list that has Zwick, McMullen, and Boeckman.

I'm a big proponent of waiting until a season has reached its conclusion to judge an overall team. It's obvious that this isn't a good team, but I'll wait to see how the rest of this season is going to play out like 2004 or like 1999 before I make that call.

Then I'll say we're worse than 1999. Seriously, don't see why you need to keep asking this, I've said we're nowhere near what we've been for the past 6 years, but that I'll wait until the end of the year to evaluate the team overall considering there's still half a season left and a lot can happen.

And Boeckman was better than those guys, but he was great, he wasn't even Craig Krenzel.

I know Krenzel is loved in Buckeye lore, and rightfully so (He's one of my top 5 favorite Buckeyes ever), but I'm not sure if he's a better QB than Boeckman.
