From what I've quickly read about the guy...

21 years old, Solid mid-range shot, doesn't have a lot of speed. Plays with intensity on defense, can block shots. Will have trouble because he's not big enough to play the 4 so he's more of a small forward. A smart player. He's an explosive dunker

Why would the Knicks trade Shumpert for an aging Nash? That makes no sense to me. After losing Fields who do the Knicks have to guard perimeter players? IMO the Knicks need to do something, but I'd have a hard time giving up on Shumpert to make it happen. Nash will improve them though.
