NFL Overtime: Do you agree with the current system?

Do it how college does it, but none of this ball in field position shit. You kick the ball off like any normal NFL possession. Football should NOT be a sudden death sport.. it simply shouldnt work that way IMO.

if the teams dont want it to be sudden death, they need to do what they are supposed to win it in regulation. i agree if a change is made it should to a full quarter, but the way it is now is fine by me as well.

If football is 3 phases why make it so only 2 of your teams phases may matter come overtime? Clearly, you're the moron.

if the team that doesnt win the toss wants the ball, all they have to do is nake a stop. it all comes down to peopl making plays when it counts.

you dont get the full picture. Sure players want to win. But its already understood that careers by and large are short. its a physically demanding sport and each play could be your last. overtime is already set at a full quarter if both your squads cant prove superior in that time, thats why you lost.

sure. you would like the ultimate prize. But the truth is most players want to walk home alive and functioning to collect another bloated paycheck.
You never read the book by Tim Green ? Making an NFL team is great for an individual as an achievement but its a short part of your life. Sports is ultimately just reality tv live entertainment. And no player wants a violent game extended too long that helps in shortening his life or damaging him physically just to entertain drunk johny fan boy .

when you lose in sudden death, its not because your offense didnt get their fair (sarcasm ) chance to score. Its because your defense didnt get the ball back- cause a turnover- etc.
