Bernard Berrian "looked borderline disinterested" in 41 snaps during Saturday night's preseason game.
Berrian blocked poorly, alligator-armed a pass on a stick route, and dropped a throw that resulted in a pick six for rookie safety Earl Thomas. In 41 snaps, Berrian had one catch for eight yards. Greg Camarillo had seven snaps, a team-high four catches, and 47 yards. Percy Harvin had 30 yards on two grabs in 14 snaps, and will be the top beneficiary of Sidney Rice's absence.

Tyrod Taylor was 28 of 33 for 456 yards and had 4 touchdowns in all the Fall scrimmages combined.

Virginia Tech is going to have such an explosive offense.

Hell yeah man, he was near perfect in the last scrimmage. Our WR core is looking great!

And Beamer chose not to redshirt David Wilson this season. That means we have three lethal running backs. I don't know how we're going to manage to spread out all that fire power.

Matt Leinart has either fucked Ken Whisenhunt's wife or he's being screwed. He's played pretty good in preseason and has played better than Derek Anderson by a sizable margin, yet he's somehow in danger of losing his job and there's speculation that he might be cut.

You can just hear it in the post-game pressers. Whisenhunt rarely mentions him by name, but perks right up when the reporters ask bout Anderson and just gushes about what he did right - passing off the several near picks as something that's "correctable". Why Whisenhunt has a hard-on for the giant Grossman clone is beyond me.

He might still be biased about Leinart being a Denny Green project... :whisper:

For real though, it's been a while now for Leinart and he still hasn't shown that he can be "the guy" for the Cardinals.

If I were his agent, I would either request for a trade or tell Matt to start thinking about other career options.

I haven't really followed college football very much over the past 3 years. I'll still watch Michigan games but not much else. For whatever reason, I'm kind of excited for college football this year.

Word out of Penn State camp is that Paul Jones will be red-shirted, while fellow freshman Robert Bolden might win the starting job. He's been real impressive during fall camp.

I was watching the BTN preview of PSU, and they showed a good amount of practice and Bolden was easily the most impressive of the QB's.

Forgot to mention this but last week LSU announced that FB Dominique Allen was kicked off the team. Really big blow as he was gonna be a STUD of a goal line runner.

Yeah, I watched that as well, plus my cousin (manager) has been telling me that Bolden has been ripping shit off. I'm more of a Paul Jones fan, but hey, whoever performs the best is fine with me, lol.

I used to always think about this dude, LOL. However, I realized that all the OL would be run blocking and would get flagged for being ineligible receivers down field.

Lineman will get called for Illegal man downfield resulting in a 10 or 15 yard penalty I can't remember. Samkon Gado got away with it when he was in Green Bay because he was in the endzone being tackled and he threw it so it wouldn't be a safety. Definitely would not work every time a RB was being tackled for a loss.
