I honestly have no idea what Carolina is going to draft with there top 5 pick. We just got Jimmy Clausen this year with our 2nd round pick so I don't think you want to give up on him so early even though he hasn't played well. We drafted 3 WRs this past year too so I don't think you would draft one of them either, maybe an O-linemen?

WR and QB is exactly what Carolina needs. They need to score more points. They're defense is alright.

Marques Douglas was signed by Tennessee and they waived Amon Gordon.

Gordon wasn't that good here but Douglas is a veteran who is a good run stopper. Jim Washburn will get the best out of him.

You guys still have to go at Pittsburgh, at San Diego, and at KC...oh and you get to play Indy too. Miami won't be an easy game either. Plus, you already lost to San Fran and Arizona, so there's always a chance you'll do something Raider-like and lose to a team you shouldn't.

San Diego and KC have much easier remaining schedules. San Diego is starting to get hot and they're getting Vincent Jackson back.

I wouldn't throw down on playoff tickets just yet.

Nothing.

No fine, no suspensions.

Crowder can go back to being average and the Raven can go on to lose in the playoffs due to stupid penalties and lack of offensive production when they need it the most.

If the chiefs lose this week we will be leading the division. We do have a harder schedule than the Chiefs and Chargers but right now things are clicking for the raiders the bye week came at the perfect time we will get about 5 starters back coming off the bye things look good for us

We'll see. It's gonna take more than half a year for Oakland to prove that they aren't pretenders.

No doubt. But there's nothing wrong with wishful thinking. And we did beat Pittsburgh at Heinz field last year. It's not inconceivable that we could win the rest of our games besides Indy. And it's not inconceivable that we could lose the rest of our games. And there's a lot of room in between those two extremes.

Granted, though, I won't be talking any trash until we can string together more than three games in a row.

In other news, I think the Bucs have set themselves up well for a nice finale. The remaining schedule: host Carolina, at San Fran, at Baltimore, host Atlanta, at Washington, host Detroit, host Seattle, at New Orleans.

I think they'll probably beat Carolina and San Fran, probably beat Washington and Seattle, probably lose to New Orleans. In my mind, Atlanta and Detroit could go either way.

Meaning: they'll finish between 9-7 and 11-5. Pretty impressive for a team that finished 3-13 last year. But who knows? On any given Sunday, anything could happen.
