Yeah and hearing Jaws, "he didn't just all of a sudden become stupid." Where have you been Jaws, people have had Norv Turner's head on a stick for years now and for good reason.

Then you hear them pull the classic injury excuse. Injuries are never an excuse, every team has injuries. The team who won the Superbowl last year probably had more injuries than any other team. Injuries are something you have to play through.

These guys have had a hard on for Norv and it's annoying as hell.

I'll always remember when he had Mike Nolan as his defensive coordinator, and Dan Snyder kept referring to his defense as "vanilla." Well, one week after a road game, Nolan returned to his office after a loss to find half-melted vanilla ice cream outside of his office.

Still, Turner is an idiot, and I'm surprised he has held on for this long in San Diego. The guy will be a great offensive coordinator but just isn't a great head coach.

Tebow does it again. Like him or not, whether you believe he is fit for the NFL or not, you gotta give this guy props for being one of the best ambassadors for the NFL and professional athletes...ever.

Tebow finds out this kid is sick and in 10 minutes he is on the phone.

PS as a father of a 4-year old girl, this story made me cry like a bitch. Having to see your kid go through that would be a nightmare. For other fathers on the board, cherish your kids.
 
Playoff invoice came for my season tickets. NFL/Ravens have no problem charging me almost 3x as much for a playoff ticket but somehow can't find a way to reduce the price of the two preseason games. Two tickets for two games in the lower level, row 35 around the 10 yard line cost me over 700$.

Due by Monday so it's a toss up whether they'll even have one home game. Right around Christmas time. Oh well.

My breakdown:

0:24 - 0:32 | This might have been my favorite throw from Jake on the day. Steps up into the pocket and places it right where only Stevens can catch it, while Craig was being covered decently by one of the linebackers.
0:33 - 0:51 | They don't show the angle, but Nate got his hands on the ball on this. Just a case of bad luck really, because with Jake scrambling away from pressure, CJ and Nate both did what they were supposed to do on the scramble drill. Unfortunately, they both ran to the same spot. Another nice throw.
0:52 - 0:56 | Yuck. At least it was thrown into the turf so the corner couldn't wrap the WR up right away, cause that play was going nowhere. Maybe those were Jake's intentions?
1:17 - 1:23 | Not a good throw. Nate was open on the out and could have made at least second down more manageable. These throws will come with time.
1:43 - 1:54 | Throw could have been better, but Damian needs to be able to bring that down. He drops too many of those passes for my liking.
1:54 - 2:00 | Maybe a pick if it wasn't tipped.
2:02 - 2:10 | CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESE
2:12 - 2:19 | This was more of the Locker in Atlanta. Too high of a throw inside the pocket. Again, it'll come with time.
2:20 - 2:25 | Gotta catch that CJ. The screen was actually set up well there.
2:27 - 2:40 | Great read. Saw the all out blitz, went to his hot read and D-Will put a great move on Robinson to get yards. Should have just continued running instead of cutting back inside though.
2:44 - 2:53 | SUPERMAN
3:21 - 3:29 | CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESE
3:30 - 4:02 | Absolutely perfect throw. Looks off the safety just enough to allow Nate to find the open seam and then delivers a gorgeous pass right into his hands. One that he stepped up in the pocket for also.
4:49 - 4:54 | I was worried he was done for the game here. Great hit by Porter and it was clean. Way to at least get the ball out.
4:55 - 5:03 | Don't care for the playcall, but it would have worked with a better throw. More touch and that's six.
5:04 - 5:08 | F*** you refs, he had the first down.
5:29 - 5:41 | Another great throw although there was more separation here with Nate compared to the other long pass to him. Ice in his veins.
6:25 - 6:30 | Of all guys you run the play for, it's for Mariani. Run Damian on that route or even Hawkins - someone who can get just a bit more separation to catch the TD.

Very promising road ahead with Locker.

IMO

Once again (like last year) the draft will be heavily populated with potential starting QBs. I have Luck, Barkley, RGIII, Landry Jones all being taken in the 1st round. So I'm thinking teams will be reluctant to trade up for Luck.

So the amount that will/would be needed to be paid (in picks/players) be worth it, when you could land a Barkley or Jones? The question we really need to ask is, "Is Luck really the best QB prospect to come along in over a decade?...

If the Colts answer yes to that, why not draft him and sit him behind Manning (Aaron Godger/Brett Favre esque)?
 
With the rookie cap in place I never saw a reason Andrew Luck couldn't sit behind Manning for a few years.

If teams are reluctant to trade up for Luck because they could just draft another QB then the answer is no.
 
lol at the NFL Fanbase. Maurice Jones Drew is having an incredible season and isn't even first or second in the pro bowl voting for running back. Fucking fans are probably voting for Chris Johnson and Arian Foster.
