Spiller really is on his way to that MVP trophy. Nice job taking the division lead back. The offense looks really explosive this year. It looks like this could be the year. It looks like the defense is struggling to get pressure on the opposing quarterbacks. The game next week against the undefeated Giants though should be a good measure of where the team is at.

Spiller is unstoppable. Big games are the norm for him. I really would like to get him an MVP trophy.

As far as the defense, I am convinced that I will never have a dominant defense. That is probably the most frustrating part of this year's Madden but I've learned to deal with it.

Giants PK Mason Crosby nails a 57-yard game-winner in overtime to give the Giants a 27-24 victory​

CROSBY'S 57-YARD FIELD GOAL IN OVERTIME DOWNS BENGALS 27-24​

Cincinnati allows field goal in final seconds to force overtime, falls to 2-2 | Date with QB Bradford, Broncos next on the slate for Bengals​

The Cincinnati Bengals led 24-21 with one minute remaining in regulation however were unable to sustain their lead and eventually fell to the New York Giants 27-24 in overtime. Giants PK Mason Crosby, who had missed a 47-yard field goal earlier in the game, hit a 57-yarder to cap off the opening possession of overtime and give New York (4-0) the win.

The Bengals, up 24-21 with 1:03 remaining and with the Giants out of timeouts, faced a 4th and 2 from the Giants 34-yard line and elected to go for it and put the game away rather than attempt a long field goal. However TE Chase Coffman dropped a wide open 10-yard pass from QB Carson Palmer, giving the Giants new life. It would be the last time the Bengals possess the football.

Giants QB Eli Manning would march his team down the field and his 36-yard completion to RB Brandon Jacobs on a wheel route set up Crosby to kick the game-tying field goal from 21 yards away to send the game into overtime. Manning and Crosby would repeat the heroics following the Giants winning the overtime coin toss.

Cincinnati (2-2) will travel to face Denver (3-1) next week on the road. Broncos QB Sam Bradford leads the NFL's #1 rated offense against the Bengals #2 ranked offense in what is expected to be a shootout in Denver. The Broncos' stout defense is led by former Bengals DT Pat Sims and free agent signees Jon Beason and Anthony Spencer.

Tough tough loss man. That one had to hurt. A 57 yard field goal?! I'm amazed Crosby could hit that. The pass defense looked a little better. Rey was a beast. Good luck against the Broncos. It sounds like it could be tough to run against their linebackers. Hopefully you can retake the division lead.
