Could do what I do. I usually just hit the x button a billion times until they pick a team. If they choose any of the top teams like pitts, chicago, san jose ect. then I go with a counter team and if not its some random team.

You got to get out of this "play like the madden people do". Just because they are your fav team, doesn't mean you have to be them. I hardly am ever the penguins mostly because I don't find it fun playing them all the time. I'm mostly Tampa or LA before anyone else.

I've officially had enough of 1v1 now. This shit is worse then trying to play madden online.

Fuckin mode is broken. I can't take the stupid goalies, stupid players, hell stupid AI all together, constant use of the a button. I try to play some form of normal hockey and defense which worked in NHL10 but simply does not work in NHL 11.

Defense is all but gone in this game so it can officially go fuck itself till they fix it.

Oh and fix the fuckin pass button too. That shits broken as well.

Online games are about to take their toll on me.

I out shoot these guys usually by double the shots, out hit guys, they are in the penalty box all the time, win almost every faceoff(do people not understand how this works?), and I will lose 3-2 or 4-3. I dont know if they are glitch goals, but the wraparound, cross crease, and the pull back wrist shot(i dont know what its called), always go in for the other team.

I played a game where I won 27 faceoffs to his 4. Out shot him 31 to 9, and he won 4-3. Serious? Looks like I am heading back to single player tourneys in HUT for a while.

There's very few people on VSN that take no issue with a goal against. Everything goes in because of some bug, the AI, some glitch or cheese.

It's ridiculous. How dare teams pass through your own slot to the open man and score eh? Like really....

You shouldn't win 100% of the time when you outplay your opponent, but I would agree that too often you don't win in this situation.
