I was at the game last night and the Sharks looked like boys against the Blackhawks.
It was one of the most pathetic efforts I have ever seen in 20 years of watching the Sharks. They were slow, soft, and had no chemistry whatsoever. They couldn't complete any passes and they refused to dump and chase. Hawks just clogged the neutral zone and let the Sharks turn the puck over again and again all night.
Not to mention the Blackhawks first 3 goals were scored shorthanded - 2 of them on the same penalty kill.
The Blackhawks played great, hell it looked like they were on a power play the entire game and the Sharks effort was simply awful to boot.
I literally said "this has blowout written all over it" to my dad within the first 10 minutes of the game and the score 0-0.
