Yea I have no defense for what Carcillo did. I understand wanting to take set a tone with a new coach, but that's unacceptable, Bradley was just finishing the check, it was totally legal. As soon as I saw the Caps had a 9 fucking minute power play I knew the Flyers were going to lose

EDIT: The thing that gets me is that my fellow idiot Flyers fans are blaming Richards and Carter for the loss because they couldn't kill off a 5-minute PowerPlay....NO TEAM is going to kill off 9 minutes of PP time without giving up a goal....damn I hate Flyers fans

Niemi was good and the pens couldn't stop hitting the post. Chi was great at shot blocking all game, at one point gonchar shot two times in a row, bouncing off people and almost got another one after that, hard to get anything thru. Pens had a terrible time in the faceoff circle, except their tying goal. Good game. I'm a pens fan, but I root for Toews, from North Dakota.

I went to the Wings game yesterday and its very discouraging how empty the arena was, but with that offense theres nothing to get excited for.

What I don't get though is why is boston so mad at him? I was watching the boston stream and they were so focused on him. The canadian media really didn't play into this return as much as boston did.

Outside of the fact he didn't get along with the coach for obvious reasons I don't get why the boston fans are booing him.
 
The leafs win a big one tonight against the caps. After the first period I thought it was going to be a 7-0 win for the caps though.

2 Things:

1. Did anyone see Hossa's goal tonight? Caught the puck in mid air and then dropped it, and scored while the puck was still in the air.

2. Antti Niemi is the man. Another shutout tonight, its going to be tough to re-sign him next year but i hope they do.

Canes have had the following people on and off IR for the first 3 months and have missed close to half the canes season.

Eric Stall
Erik Cole (multiple times)
Tim Gleason (multiple times)
Ray Whitney
Cam Ward
Joni Pitkanen (multiple times)
Ray Whitney
Chad LaRose
Sergie Samsonov

Their roster only has 3 guys on it that have played every game.

While they sit in last place in the league with a 9 - 21 - 6 record this is a team that last year made it to the 3rd round of the playoffs.

Yes, exactly. And this is why he isn't HoF material because he is not a consistent goalie and seems to only be in HoF form when he is in the playoffs.
