I am so tired of listening to it. Being this close to Edmonton, it is all you hear about, and of course TSN is running it non stop. I get it was big, but I just laugh when they say it still affects the game today. Two lockouts, different areas of hockey, salary cap...yeah, it doesn't. That is just stretching.

It was just a precursor of what was to come, except instead of pleading poverty to get a new stadium, dirt bag Pocklington pled poverty in order to trade his best player for $0.03 on the dollar so he could keep his corrupt business ventures afloat

True story, I was a 3 year old boy when this happened. I remember crying when I realized my first idol was no longer going to be in Edmonton. As a kid, I was more a Gretzky fan than an Oilers fan. If I recall, I had Oilers, Kings and Blues posters in my room

Leaf, what can I expect from Grabovski? He's going in as the Caps second line center I've heard that, between him and Ribeiro, Ribeiro is better offensively, but Grabovski is a much better two-way player, but that's it.

I say it depends on a lot of the supporting cast he has. He has great speed, which is good for Washington style hockey, but will need a hand in getting the puck. Not sure how he will play with guys like Laich or Erat.
