Was pretty clear that Shuttleworth either picked it up too late or couldn't tell how hard Moffat hit it, not sure what else he can do there.

(Plus he's been one of the best keepers in MLS this season.)

Just got back from the SPFL opener Partick Thistle vs Dundee United. Despite a 0-0 scoreline it was not a bad game at all. A lot of wasted chances and some really good saves from both goalies. Also some meaty challenges, a decent fight midway through the second half and Partick's 'ultras' calling David Goodwillie a sex predator throughout. And my betting record goes to 1-0 for the season.
 
Not a huge fan of drawing the Kazhak side for the CL playoff round.

Tough away travel for a squad that seems to sell of a 1st team regular every week at this point.

It would be a real shame after last year's run to the final 16 if the Bhoys don't even make the group stage.

Lisandro Lopez has left Lyon to go to Qatar. I thought the whole Gomis thing was so they could afford to keep Lopez. I guess Lyon have consigned themselves to fighting for third now, which is probably practical
