Face value for standing room is $40 but I paid around $48 per ticket from the brewers after fees. I see they're going for less than that now. I can't believe I'm going to take a loss on these damn tickets. Make me a reasonable offer and they're yours.

I work second shift 1:45-10:15 which means I miss EVERYTHING. I hate working Sundays. The bright side is that after tomorrow my rotation will be off Sundays until after Thanksgiving.

What a disgusting ending to such a great season. It was a hell of a ride and hopefully years down the road I remember the great experience of being at game 1 and 5 of the NLDS. But now even the division title is tainted. The Brewers won the NL Central buuuuut...yeah.
Oh yeah and even though the blame HAS to be almost completely be on the pitching, where was Prince in this series? And a standing ovation? Yeah, go make your $200 mil somewhere else you fat bum.

Just dont have any idea what happened to the Brewers the past couple games. 7 errors in 2 games, Braun and Fatty looking like complete shit, and obvious pitching woes. How could it ALL go sooo wrong at the same time?

At least everyone kept it classy once the series got started. I was actually pretty surprised. Also Pujols calling for time during Prince's moment. Good stuff.
Congrats to the Cardinals fans and their organization. You were the better team in the series and you definitely deserved to represent the National League in the World Series. Congratulations to the Brewers organization on an amazing season and an experience the fans should never live down.
With that said....I have never been more embarrassed of the Brewers fans. This was the biggest game of many brewers fans lives, and at least 30-40% of the Brewers fans showed no respect to the Brewers or Prince Fielder. That percentage of fans left before Prince's final at bat and that is inexcusable. If it was just a few thousand fans, I'd be fine with it, but that was not the case. A huge percentage of fans didn't have enough respect to simply stay until the 8th inning for one of the most popular and successful players in Brewers history. That is completely embarrassing and those fans didn't deserve to see the Brewers in the World Series if they can't even show them respect for the great season they had.
Again, congratulations to both organizations.

Good series to the Cardinals and their fans. Obviously, it wasn't the outcome that I wanted or hoped, but someone had to lose.
The 2011 Cardinals were a LOT like the 2010 Packers. Both teams suffered quite a few injuries, both teams needed another team to collapse, and both teams got hot at the right time. The Cardinals had to beat Philly, in Philly (so did GB) and the Packers had to beat the rival Bears. It is so similar to the 2010 Packer season.
Honestly, the Cardinals bats were ridiculous this series. They got hot at the right time, nothing you really can do about it. That's why the main goal is to get to the playoffs, and anything can happen in a 5 or 7 game series.
I still think the Rangers are the better team, but who knows.
It was a very good season though, and one that I will remember for the rest of my life. It was 29 years since the Brewers won a playoff series. 29 years. And we accomplished just that.
Plus, what has been up with Marcum? Tired arm? He's been pitching like shit since early Sept. Last 4 starts, he has given up 27 H in 14 IP, while walking 8 and striking out 7.
BTW, I thought this would be more intense series with bench-clearing brawls etc, but I didn't notice one little complaint or anything like that. Pretty impressive.

How about Fielder show some respect to those same fans who paid his salary for the last half decade, "sacrifice" a couple million dollars he'll never miss, and resign with the team?
I can't get on the case of any Milwaukee fan who walked out on a guy who has openly talked about walking after this season. He doesn't even have enough class to keep his mouth shut on the topic (or even give the old, 'i'd love to stay here the rest of my career, lets see what happens'), so why should the fans kiss his oversized ass?
If i'm a Brewers fan, i'm not feeling very nostalgic about the guy.
With that said, anyone who leaves a game early, especially a playoff game, is a geek.
One of the reasons I said it was disrespectful to the Brewers, not just Prince. We haven't had many guys like Prince in this organizations history, it would be nice to see the fans have respect for the guy. I can't blame him for taking a deal that will land him $20-$50 million more than what the Brewers can offer him. Even Albert Pujols, a rival of Prince and the Brewers showed him respect.
Honestly though, I'd prefer not to sign Prince. That's way to much money tied into one player when we have a lot of future contracts that are more important. While there is no way to replace Prince, it's just way to much money into what is probably a bad contract in the making. He'll never be worth the kind of money he'll get, but that can be said about most big contracts.
While it was embarrassing to get annihilated 12-6, it was way more embarrassing when I see the fans around me leaving in the 4th inning. This is supposed to be one of the best small market fan bases in baseball and they shit the bed when it mattered most.
It's even worse when we only see success and a player of Prince's caliber every 30 years too. He's done a lot for this organization, and I thought we owed that to him.
