Edwin Jackson almost always gives up 2 runs in the first inning, turns into Bob Gibson for the next 4-5 innings, and then gives up 2 more before coming out.

Dotel owns Braun. 2-10, 8 strikeouts against your boy.

Hence why the mis-management of Garcia in Game 1 proved to be so costly. They had Dotel warming up just for Braun, but kept Jaime in there and he imploded. Tony learned from his mistake last night and made the switch, even though Jaime was doing okay but it was starting to unravel, and it paid off beautifully.

2-0 count with Fielder on-deck is WAY dif. than 1-1 count. Not making excuses or anything, but that was an awful call.
