Official 2010/2011 NBA Regular Season Thread

Great game between the Rockets/Lakers. Very impressed by how the Rockets played despite the loss. They will be dangerous if they continue to play like that and when Yao gets 100%. I'm also impressed by my boy Shannon Brown knocking down those clutch 3's.

Also as the commentators were saying last night, Miami needs to develop some sort of post game. They run around court shooting random jumpers like it's FIBA basketball. They'll probably murder the 76ers tonight though, lol.

Granted, I'm perhaps too optimistic about Felton, Mozgov, Randolph and the health of Gallinari and Amar'e....but they should be able to score with any other team.

Can they get a stop when they need to, I doubt it.

I'm predicting north of .500. If they make it to a 7th or 8th seed, I'll be ecstatic, sadly.

Knicks are off my radar until I see effort on the defensive end and rebounding. This fraud coach emphasizes neither.
 
Yeah, if you're looking for defense this current incarnation is definitely not your team.

It's going to be a fun team though. They have a lot of the pieces to run a good D'Antonio system.
 
Shannon Brown and Steve Blake were definitely a great re-signing and pick up. That bench is straight up nasty but the hatred in me predicts them going 1-81 still :D

The Knicks have an interesting team. I don't want to compare them to the Heat, but both teams are up in the air as to how well they'll do this season. Their season won't be determined in the first few games by any means.
