So Wednesday I had $140ish in my account. Hit a nice $80 play to get up to $240.
Then Friday I was just thinking, I put $500 in my account right before week 1 of the college football season. Since then it has fluctuated up and down up and down with reaching a high of about 1100 and a low of 120. I was basically sick of being at a low number because it's so hard to turn $100-200 and turn it into thousands. So on Friday I decided, after doubling up from $240 to 420 on Thursday night, that I was going to play two plays this weekend, doubling up each time. I knew I was going to do both teaser plays since I hit teasers at a better rate then sides/totals.
So I spent about an hour Friday night before going out and a couple of hours Saturday studying all of the 10 point teased lines in NCAA and picked 4 that I was most confident in. I also knew that once I got passed a stressful Saturday that Sunday would be much easier because I know the NFL better. So that teaser hit and I was estatic.
Moving onto Sunday morning. Woke up at 11. Studied the lines til about 11:45am and deciding which 3 picks I should pick. However I got 4 picks and couldn't decide which one to drop so I just stuck with 4. The only other consideration I had was Bears +10.5 @ home vs. Vikings. Which would have hit aswell.
So Pats capped it off with a straight up victory over the Steelers. I knew after hitting the first 3 during the 1pm slate that the Pats would be cake especially after the beatdown by the Browns last weekend.
Out of all 11 of my teaser picks the only ones that caused me to sweat were:
Thursday night:
Ravens +10. Ravens were down 20-7 at one point in the game.
Pitt +4.5. Pittsburgh was down 30-21 with less than 5 minutes in the game.
Saturday:
Duke +14. BC was up 15 with 8 left in the third. BC up 21-9 fumbled on Duke's 5 which Duke returned for a TD to make it a 5 point game in the 4th.
VTech +7.5. UNC was up 1 at half. Wasn't really worried though.
Sunday:
Didn't really have anything to sweat besides praying Colt Mccoy didn't throw a pick 6 when he was driving the Browns down the field for a tying TD.
I am very very very thankful that this weekend planned exactly as I hoped. I had a mission to stick with the plan of double up Sat & Sun and it payed off.
I'll be taking out $800 tomorrow (max withdrawal for moneygram) and putting it in the bank.
I hope you guys were fortunate to have a great weekend like I did.
