I played Buddha a few last season and he is straight.

If I think someone is gonna be passing even if they come out in 2WR or 3WR ill still come out i qtr and just play some prevent defense while they move the ball and run the clock off.

I have hated quarter defense since they took plain quarter out and went to the three deep.

Wat is the deal with someone who just audibles every offensive play. Walks up to line and starts creating their own plays etc. This is cool? only experienced this once where it was an issue since it happened all game etc while they ran the same iforma dn 3wr sets all game where just constant audibles and hot routes. I guess thats the point of accell clock.

I also have a problem when guys bring their safeties to the line of scrimmage when the rules clearly frown upon it. Or when guys move two or three guys presnap. Maybe its because I've been apart of a league for four years that doesn't allow you moving anyone presnap but the shit annoys me.

I feel you. I dont mind the safetys to the line tho since u can chuck it over the top on them. but when they start doing weird stuff it screams nano or something.

I move my safety I'll be controlling, occasionally I'll accidently move LB when switching players...but I've seen A LOT of these guys bringing their safeties way closer then the LB's. I dont like it, but havent mentioned it until now, and they are all guys I thought otherwise played pretty solid, just that one hiccup.

whats the difference with bringing your safeties up and just doing triangle + left that makes everyone move up to the LOS? I played someone and they did that just about every first and 2nd down which makes since if you are trying to stop the run. i didnt see a major problem with it. i do agree that you shouldnt be moving more than 1 player presnap

btw i agree with castle's post, those rules were made in the ps2 days. things have changed

BULLSHIT!...If I call a MLB blitz and the Saftey is covering the slot reciever then I should be able to bring my saftey down that is playing man D on the slot receiver.

i played the piven and he did some shit that was beyond annoying.. on offense he ran the ball twice all game but every 3rd passing attempt was playaction, final ratio 37 passes, 2 rushes.. on defense he would take his DL off the line of scrimmage after the snap and put them in coverage..

Completely agree.

For those that are against bringing a safety down to the line, what is your reasoning? Bcause it makes it tougher forthe offense to advance the ball? Isn't that what the defense is supposed to do?

If bringing a safety down into the box took advantage of the AI, that's one thing. However, if it's being done to help stop the run or to cover a hole from a blitzing LB or DB, then what's the problem?

Rules were put in place years ago to account for flaws in the game. Making rules just for the sake of making rules is restrictive and take a lot of the fun out of the game. If I wanted to play madden against opponents that played the same way, I'd just play the computer.

There are some basic rules and then there are adjustable rules...meaning some rules will change from year to year. Bring the safety down is a must this year, especially when playin teams with good speed backs (CJ, AP and the most overrated back in Madden history...McFadden) tosses with these guys are dangerous. When I run the 4-6, I always controll the safety and bring him down some and then string the runner out because if he hits that corner, it's a wrap! You need to get some bodies in the backfield.

People can't expect you to play the same way you did on the PS2...it ain't gonna work. When the AI moves men on their own, you need to move men back...especially when callin plays out of various nickel packages.

Next thing you know people gonna be complain that the AI moved a player closer to the LOS and their opponent didn't move them back.

Most zone blitz plays have Dlinemen in coverage and LBs blitzing. Unless you are saying he manually moved them presnap to Coverage, then yeah thats booty.

I concur. If the play calls for the dlinemen to drop into coverage cool. If you hotroute him cool. But dont be moving him off the line for fun and dropping 10 guys into zones thats gay. Same thing on punt returns. Keep the men where they belong. Dont pull a guy back for an extra blocker. It seems like people dont read the fn rules.:dontknow:
