What makes Te'o more qualified than Johnny Football? Not saying he isn't, just wanting to hear your argument.

Also, Cam winning proved what a sham the Heisman has become, because they completely ignored the 'good character' aspect. Even Mark Ingram winning proved it, though not for the character issues.

He played pretty well against Florida, completed 73% of his passes with no INTs and ran for 60 yards and a score. Only subpar performance was against LSU and he's been on a roll since then.

I've got nothing but respect for Te'o. Can't imagine all that he's had to go through this year, playing at such a high level, and conducting himself in a such a positive manner. He's an easy guy to root for, and while I don't believe he will win the Heisman, definitely deserves as much credit as possible. When people question an athlete's decision to return for their senior year, you'll definitely see Te'o's year as one of the biggest proponents of that.

I feel very privileged to have gotten to watch and root for Manti on my favorite team and see him play in person as much as I have. He is a legend, no matter how this season ends .

And what Manti means to Notre Dame is beyond measure. He's the best MLB to play college football in a long, long time. He's the most valuable player in college football this season. He brought ND back from 3-9 just 5 years ago, to one game away from the National Championship. He did it all while having two loved ones pass away within 6 hours of one another. He is one of the most humble players, down to earth players who ever lived. He's like Tim Tebow, only he doesn't throw religion in your face and doesn't sound fake.
