Yeah, thankfully you can do this mid-Dynasty. I want to keep it as real as possible. I just hope I don't have to control all 119 teams to make the changes.

That's what I was wondering....good to hear. Last year I played a SWC conference (replaced Big XII), I might try it again on the side. So if you are an OC/DC, do you call the play and take over the players once the ball is hiked? Or is it strictly coach mode?

edit: watching the video again...caught it saying that you "play" that side of the field.

The custom conferences look pretty cool. One thing for my 2012 wishlist is adding a playoff system. If they're going to let us get imaginative with conference names and composition, take that extra step and give me the option for a playoff system.

This is FUCKING. INCREDIBLE. The ability to fully customize conferences as well as add/edit/delete entire conferences has been a wet dream of mine for quite some time now. But I do have some questions...can I add in more FBS team? Can I remove FBS teams? Can I upload custom logos for new conferences? Why can't I stop masturbating to this article?

I am PRAYING that this is just a pre-cursor to EA announcing that we can now have a playoff system. I'll throw up from pure excitement if that happens. If it does, my Utopian dream for college football will finally be realized. Everyone will play a conference championship game. Every division will have 12 teams.

I'm guessing you can put as many TB teams you want and just have them replace real teams (not really unlimited but a good # of teams). I doubt they will allow us to just delete a team from the game (instead just move them to another conference)....I would think if they did, there would be a "Delete Team" button.

This is the next step. This is what damn near everyone wants for College Football. EA needs to make it happen.

I'm almost sold on this game to the point I might buy it even if the gameplay is lacking. We'll see though demo will be important, and all of these features better be in OD too, not just offline.

If I do end up getting it anyone want to put together a VSN OD on XBOX? Not the kind that dies after a few games either, tired of that.

I think they stated in the IGN video that all of these features work in OD.

Also, I'm down for a solid 360 OD.

I think there is still more stuff to come out about Dynasties and OD's. The "embargo" is supposed to be lifted on Monday. I guess we will have to wait and see.


But glad I preordered this game even though it only cost me $7
