Sony can say anything they want. I think PSN will be up, but I will be shocked if we get a fully functional, useful Gakai anytime soon. Just my hunch, and any amount of speculation on your part isn't going to change that hunch.
And I would argue that Gaikai always had lots of support from a number of big partners. Sony now owning them is obviously different, but we have no idea other than Sony saying so if they're actually going to support it long term, if it's going to be a success, if anyone will use it, if it will be possible for the average user with the average internet connection to use it. All of these things are mysteries, and like I said, there just isn't enough evidence there for streaming gaming or Sony to fill me with confidence that this thing will be out at launch or anytime soon after launch in any kind of useful capacity (I could see a Beta, MAYBE).
Like I said, I hope I'm wrong, but I'll be surprised if I am.
