i been watching the whole game.....i still say RGIII is the better QB. dont know why cousins threw that ball for INT. now we down 10.....

like i said; Cousins is not the answer. i have seen enough of Cousins when we need a clutch possession/drive. he is NOT a Playmaker, he is good 2nd string QB.

i will ride out the RGIII Train until he absolutely and positively a bust. much rather RGIII in those situations.

It's his fifth start, and the ones he had last year can't really be counted. Did you hear Aikman slobbering all over Cousins and the placement of his throws? Aikman NEVER talks about the Redskins in a positive light, but that's all he could do today.

I'm not saying Cousins is the next coming of Tom Brady or Joe Montana, but he played a great game today and we proved we can hang with Philly. If a few more things go our way, we come out with a W.

INT leads to eagles pushing a 10 point lead.

2nd attempt were just such bad passes and passing decisions.

you have to count those games he played last year - that was his moment to shine, no??

I don't, because the entire team wasn't really there. It was at the end of the season, and I really don't subscribe to the "play for your job" when the things that Washington dealt with last year were on the table. It wasn't just a lame duck head coach, but a lame duck family, and both ownership and that family were dragging each other through the mud indirectly. Cousins played garbage time, and most of those players were probably playing so they wouldn't get hurt and just wanted to get off the field and head home to start the off-season.

But
today
the defense gave us/Redskins/Cousins, so many chances to win this game. he Choked when we needed him, not once but twice.

and he was lucky to get that pass on DJax on that Bomb for the tie. that FS got caught looking at Garcon on the crossing route.
plus; DJax still had to slow down for that pass.....
his arm is not strong on 20+ yard passes

Tough to lose his on-field leadership, and I really think his performance has become more consistent. He's also stepped up in big games when he's needed to.

I'm hoping it's not a career injury for Hall, but I think a move to safety is going to happen if the torn Achilles is confirmed tomorrow.

maybe can afford 4-5 at the Bye but at 3-6, we might as well just Tank away....

we Giants home on TNF, then Seahawks home, away at the Cardinals, Titans home, away at Cowboys , and away at the Vikings - followed into Bye week.

i know he is not the main reason but i watched the whole game (yes, i caved in and got directv sunday ticket).

we can blame:
bad defense on and coverage to that go ahead TD to Maclin

we can blame:
Halls injury and not having him on the field

we can blame:
Grudens play calling in the 4th quarter

we can also blame:
the scuffle where Baker got ejected.....
it wast a cheap shot - Foles was going toward the play, ready to make a tackle.
that was BS

i just didnt care for crucial INT that really hurt out chances.
Niles Paul wasnt even looking for and wasnt even open.

if he rally the troops on TNF against the Giants, i will be more relaxed about the situation.

Looks like within the rules, Baker's hit was OK. The fight is going to draw a suspension I'm sure.

“Baker didn't do anything wrong with that hit,” Troy Vincent, the NFL's executive vice president of football operations, said via the Washington Post's Mark Maske. “When you look at the rule, he didn't do anything illegal. People can say it's a cheap shot and you can talk about whether it might fall under unsportsmanlike conduct. But when you know the rule and you look at the play, he didn't hit him in the head. He didn't hit him in the neck. We looked at it. I looked at it very closely. He's not going to be fined for that.”

So what's the rule?

Maske explains: "A quarterback is considered a defenseless player after throwing an interception and cannot be hit by an opposing player in the head or neck area. Baker delivered a blind-side block on Foles but the league determined that Baker did not make contact with Foles in the quarterback's head or neck."

Still, Baker could face a fine for his scuffle with Peters.

that was a legal hit by those terms or even by video review.
Foles was clearly moving towards the play to make a potential tackle
