[XB1] Official Xbox One Thread

Everyone has agreed to PS4 leading overall sales. I'm not sure what your argument is. For the 6th time now, US sales, on VGChartz, have XB1 leading PS4 every week since it's launch, which has been my only statement and still holds true. MS is doing a good job of getting products out on the shelves.

With that I'll say PS4 is selling better than the XB1 and is doing a good job of getting products on the shelves.

Also, PS4 sells more consoles than all other consoles combined between the times of lunchtime and 1:15pm.

People aren't willing to spend 400-600 dollars on a console just yet.

It's a problem because it's a highly in demand product. That is why you see the PS4 is still going for ridiculous amounts of moola on kijiji, ebay, etc. The PS4 has sold roughly 1.5 mil consoles since it's release in the US alone. You could also make the argument that Sony has evenly distributed their consoles throughout planet earth where as the XB1 has placed most of their eggs in the US/North American basket where the competition is much tighter between the two, the global sales of each product strongly suggests that could be the case.

That was my initial thought too, but I'd be surprised by Sony doing so. They know that most of their money comes from the US and they already own the non-English speaking countries. You would think they'd want to hit their money maker hard knowing it wont really effect the other areas.

For anyone without a PS4, it looks like Warframe was only a timed exclusive and may be coming to the XB1. Not sure whether it will be free to play like it is on PS4.

This is the second NFL QB to do this. Didn't Russell Wilson do the same thing?
Are these guys actually buying them or is this a great marketing scheme by MS? I know the XBone is the "official console of the NFL" and Wilson has already done Madden commercials featuring the 360.

I asked on /r/xboxone about my "Xbox Record That" not working properly anymore. They sayd you just need to hold down the power button for 10s or so to completely power down the console and give it a clean reboot if it happens to you.

edit: Tried that, now it actually records, but only for 1 second. WTF

I'm running into all kinds of issues today. Party chat seems to be all fucked up. I was chatting with my cousin one minute. Then he left. Then I tried starting a new chat with him and my buddy and both of them kept getting messages saying "We can't turn on chat right now. Try again later." We all tried restarting the console, exiting our games to the dash...nothing. Then I invited another buddy and we were chatting fine. Then each person tried starting one and inviting everyone else and every time I got the error message too.

Plus, I started a new Connected Franchise in Madden. I sent out invites to three people. One guy joined fine and another guy got a message saying "An Xbox Live membership limitation does not allow you to use this feature". WTF?

Party chat updates are coming with the big update they are releasing. It's a pain right now.

I have no idea what the limitation is about. I've never seen it.

I'm enjoying Ryse. It may be one of the most repetitive games I've ever played but it's like playing the movie 300. I love the movie 300.

It is extremely graphic...which I love.
