The hard drive is currently not removable from the stuff I've read. The only way to upgrade your local storage would be if they support external hard drives.

I imagine they'll have different SKUs with larger HDD sizes when it finally launches.

So the system is built to work even if your Internet connection goes down, but you still have to be connected at least once a day to use it, Harrison said. We're not sure exactly what would happen if you don't connect once per day—and that timeframe could change—but this doesn't sound good for anyone who was hoping to use Xbox One without an Internet connection.

As I was reading this I imagined Twigg playing the next Bioshock game on the Xbox One...

He has to go somewhere important but he doesn't want to leave until he reaches the next auto save and who knows how far away that may be. Comcast is having problems and suddenly his internet goes down, now he's really stuck between a rock and a hard place. It's no longer even an option for him to pause the game, leave and come back. What if the internet doesn't turn back on in time and his Xbox turns off in between checkpoints while he's gone? Doesn't want to put his life on hold for a video game but also doesn't want to have his last hour or two of progress erased. Really devastating stuff if you're in a game that's moving slow anyway.

Rare To Show ‘Historic’ Franchise on Xbox One at E3

Microsoft suggests that a “historic” Rare property may be shown off at E3.

Speaking to Polygon, Microsoft Studios corporate vice president Phil Spencer said “fans of Rare and Rare IP I think will be pleased with what we're going to show at E3. We had a limited amount of time today and a lot of story to tell. But Rare remains an incredibly important part of our development capability. That historic IP that they've built I think can play a real important role on Xbox One."

Microsoft acquired Rare in 2002. Late last year, Microsoft renewed its trademark for Killer Instinct, though that renewal was later reported as “refused.” Classic Rare properties that have appeared on Xbox 360 include Perfect Dark and Banjo-Kazooie.

Microsoft’s E3 press conference will take place on Monday, June 10 at 9:30 a.m. Pacific.

I'm likely in the same boat. I love my 360 and PS3 ... and see nothing that makes me believe I won't be ok with the PS4 and XboxOne
