Every player in the league probably drifts in and out of film sessions from time to time. It's ridiculous to think Kobe and Jordan sat right in front of the TV and watched every little second. So it's not that he fell asleep, just that he grew tired of the presentations and sessions.

1. Lebron James wasn't supposed to be "every player"

2. There's never been a story of Jordan or Kobe etc not being focused on training on the game. Jordan has his gambling issue but he was still a kilerl on the court and always a laser beam focus wise at facilities.

3. You can make whatever excuses you want but James' immaturity and lack of dedication is pretty well documented now.

My only problem with his statement other than what I said above is the fact that it strictly seems to be an opinion. There is no quote, nothing of fact in his statement at all, other than what LeBron said to Jay-Z which had nothing to do with watching film.

You obviously didn't read the story well enough.

Meh, his “honesty” is relative to him trying to make an impression. Wojo brought up stuff from the distant past that I’m sure he was aware of before James made the decision.

This is the issue that I had with the James article (and his later article about Chris Paul who he basically asked to not be like James), because he’s just making comments, but not really providing any substance

He framed his entire story I linked around sources with direct involvement or direct knowledge of the situation. He stated that at the outset.

You choosing not to believe Wojo's sources is your own deal, but it doesn't make Wojo's story any less credible.

Right now, it is Wade's team.

Again, I'm telling you...James is not going to becomes this humble role player who just folllows Wade's lead. James will say the right things, because he's mature enough to understand what the media will do if he doesn't.

He's mature enough to say/do all that but not mature enough to kick an ass clown like Maverick Carter to the curb or and not mature enough to realize "The Decision" was an awful idea?

I've only been responding to your post. I'm not sure what you're getting at. I never said James will be the leader...only that he and Wade will share in that responsibility. If you take everthing these athletes say to the media as gold, then more power to you.

From a PR perspective I thought "The Decision" was a bad move; however, I don't think it was as bad as everyone was making it seem. Had he stayed I'm sure he'd be praised right now for being a hero. I do know the show got a really good rating and it did make a lot of money for the B&G Club, so meh. Once he's back on the court and winning people won't think much of it.

I don't take everything they say as gold but between Jame's comments, reprots coming out about his mindset etc. it seems he's fine not being the leader of the team. Which is fine with me if that's what he wants. But I reserve the right to judge his lgacy differently.

Wesley has been around the NBA a long time...he's not as bad as people would like to believe. Sports in general and recuiting are full of guys like Wesley. As far as Carter...I don't know....

LOL, I read an article somewhere that had the top CEO's without a college degree and Carter was there. He had a quote, "Don’t be afraid if you see an opportunity to go and give it shot. You can finish school later; it's always there."

Yeah, not being afraid to "give it shot" is easy to do with you're connected to James. Carter is not a self made man.

I know he was going hard after him, but Wall signed with another firm. I can't find the exact article or details but apparently Wall wasn't too impressed. Carter's entire firm revolves around LeBron giving him money.

By all accounts it's a total mess.

Say what you want about WWW in terms of maturity, that guy helps A LOT of people make A LOT of money. Wes just has a way with young athletes man.. I dont think hes hindering LeBron in any way. Maverick Carter is a whole different evil tho.

From what I understand, New York was never in the picture with LeBron. I don't blame him.
