I went with Diaz, but I would not put any money in it. I think Diaz will use his long arms to keep Shamrock at bay, and then catch him in a sub when it goes to the ground. Diaz by arm bar in the second round

Benji Radach vs. Scott Smith
Brett Rogers vs. Ron Humphries

With the exception of Melendez/Damm, I think the other three fights are showcase fights. Santos needs to win to set up the Gina fight. Scott Smith needs to win to get back in the MW title picture. And Rogers needs to win to set up a Kimbo fight. With these opponents, I think they all can
 
I'm going with Shamrock although I wouldn't be surprised if Diaz uses his reach advantage to outbox Frank. Isn't Frank walking around with messed up ACLs or MCLs? How the hell can he still go on the ground, it's weird as fuck.

I'm going with Shamrock though because I think he can land the more powerful strikes and if it goes to the ground, while Diaz is pretty damn good at BJJ, Shamrock won't be out of his league.
 
Well, I'm going with Frank, lol, but even if he wasnt my homie I still would, rank has been fighting guys in the 185 and above range his entire career, mostly at 200 and some guys above, this will be Nicks heaviest fight of his career

Frank has to much power and Nick has never been great at not getting hit

Nick will throw a ton of punches, but Franks chin is solid (so is Nicks), but Nick will eat way to many power punches

Frank will not go for the takedown and I dont think Nick has good enough takedowns to get Frank down, even though Franks TK defense is still lacking, he said he is actually listening to his wrestling coach this time and will try and stop the takedown

CB, dont see Nick tapping Frank, he hasnt been subbed since his Pancrase days in Japan, Nick will out position if he gets him to the ground, but I cant see a sub loss for Frank, maybe a decision loss if Nick can keep his distance in the striking range and keep top control on the ground like Renzo did

I got Frank with a TKO in rd 2

pretty good card. i got shamrock via decision. diaz is a real tough dude. hes only been knocked out once in his career, and that was about 7 years ago. i see it being a standup battle with shamrock getting the best of diaz and edging out a decision. should be a real entertaining fight, both those guys always put on a great show.

Agreed, but not the smith/radach fight, its a very very even fight, Smith had a couple nice showings against Lawler, but they wouldnt be mad if Radach wins.

185 is there deepest class, they dont have to try and build Smith up

are all good guys to have fight each other, the winner of Radach/Smith probably jumps in the mix to fight Lawler after Lawler fights Jake Shields at the next show

Frank and Cung will be the next big fight, hopefully the winner of those 2 get to fight Lawler down the line if he is still the champ, but Frank has his eyes on Tito after Cung if they can get him to fight

What is this 'Strikeforce'? Is it a UFC event? Are you sure it's not Nate Diaz vs Ken Shamrock? Those are the guys I know from Spike...

I'd translate this into 'keyboard warrior' speak, but I think this goes to show that unless its a UFC event, your not going to get much attention round here. The five people that care have already voted

I read on FiveOuncesofPain (would get a link, but my iGoogle isn't working) that Miletich will be there. Don't know why Gus and Mauro will be there, both are play by play guys. Mauro does know a lot of stuff about MMA though, so I think he will fill the colour role while Miletich offers advice.

For those that can't get the fights, on showtime.com they will be offering a $25 option where you can control the camera angles you watch from. You can then choose to either get the sound from that camera position or from the booth

Tough call. I've learned you never bet against the Diaz brothers. They almost always deliver, even when they probably shouldn't - such as against Gomi. Would love to see Shammy take it, though.
 
Im picking Nick only cause Rob loves Frank.

It should be a war tho.. really could go either way. I agree, Frank may be too powerful for Nick. Its also going to be tough for Nick to win be submission. But I can see Nick squeaking out a decision.
