Rams are going to score a monster haul, and if they can still manage to nab Blackmon in whatever slot they end up in, then I take back all of the bad things i've said about Mullet Head the last decade or so.

I can see the Skins being more willing than anyone else to five up two first rounders and two or three additional picks to get RG3.

I'm torn about it though. On the one hand, he could be their franchise QB for the next ten years which is not good. We've come to expect them being malcontent with their signal caller (the fact Grossman beat the Giants twice this year notwithstanding).

On the other hand, them sending away a significant group of picks to St. Louis would almost certainly guarantee them being relatively shit the next couple seasons....with Eli in his prime.

Make it happen I guess. Plus, St. Louis with all these picks should be able to compete right away with SF.

That rumor been floating around a lot, that's most likely the deal that gets it done... Rams prob don't want to move back that far but they would be essentially guaranteed Blackmon/Reiff/Brockers which are three candidates for them at #6 IMO.

lol...what? Their whole draft won't be starters, they could probably get 3-4 starters out of it but I doubt it's enough to get up there and compete with San Fran if the 9ers play like they did last year.

I agree. Either get Manning if possible or stick with Matt Moore (he wasn't so bad was he?) and company for one more year and then pick up Barkley in the 2013 draft if they're bad enough to pick high.

There's a decent chance that Blackmon makes it to 6, so that gives them 2 solid options. Then Floyd has been a monster this off-season with a great 40 time and good interviews. I don't really think he's much of a drop-off from Blackmon. Kinda the Julio to Blackmon's AJ Green. If I were the Rams, I wouldn't target a deal that guarantees them Blackmon (Cleveland), I would take the small difference in Floyd and the better picks. A team like Washington or Miami are prime spots to make some ridiculously over-the-top move. The Skins feel the pressure of their fanbase and have never valued draft picks. And Miami needs to sell tickets in that new stadium and make a splash to get their fans back. Pit them against each other, take one for all they're worth, then draft Floyd. Absolute best case scenario for them with the #2 pick IMO.

Moore was pretty damn good actually and I would be pretty content with him at the helm next year. If they get Manning, that would be fine as well, but I am more than happy with Moores performances last year.

St. Louis was also a playoff contender the previous year. Parity in that division could see them back in contention if Bradford is healthy and he actually has someone to throw to (and they add some pieces to the defense).

Not an impossible task. Only way I see you missing on him is if the Browns want to fuck you all over for trading the 2 to the Skins. Bucs can use a WR but I just dont see us passing on Claiborne and the Vikes passing on Kahlil.

I can't see them giving up that many picks. This team still has some holes that have to be addressed via the draft. I can see them giving up the first this year and a first next year, and potentially a player, but no way can they afford to give up the second and third. The offensive line needs to be addressed with those two picks.

There is still a couple different ways free agency can play out, too. The Redskins may end up with Carl Nicks, negating the need to focus much on the offensive line. Or, they could address the secondary in free agency and not need those selections.

Either way, there is no way the Redskins give up that many picks to move up. At least, I hope they don't/
