I agree. Either get Manning if possible or stick with Matt Moore (he wasn't so bad was he?) and company for one more year and then pick up Barkley in the 2013 draft if they're bad enough to pick high.

Moore was pretty damn good actually and I would be pretty content with him at the helm next year. If they get Manning, that would be fine as well, but I am more than happy with Moores performances last year.

Don't be an idiot... I'm a Panthers fan, I know Matt Moore, it's the same old story different year. He's a fucking fraud. When the ground game and defense is playing well he manages the game well enough to not lose it, give him a chance to throw at all and he will fuck you. He plays well and smart enough for the team to put faith in him and then gets a sense of entitlement like he is fucking Dan Marino all of a sudden.

2009 he seemed to rally us late in the season and played very well, 5 starts, 1,000 yds, almost 62% completion, 8 TDs, 2 Int.

Gives the Panthers hope, talk around the team that they shouldn't take Clausen, Moore is the future, we can win with him. He comes back in another 5 starts, 55% completion, 850 yards, 5 TDs and 10 Int. The guy is inconsistent and mentally fragile. Don't be ok with him, be furious that fans think he can be serviceable. Watch his complete meltdown in the 2010 opener against the Giants, I was flipping the fuck out.

I think Reiff could jump into top 5... and I have an odd feeling that Claiborne will be out of it.

Id be totally ok with that if we somehow landed Manningham, all I know is we need a CB desperately. Ronde may be shown the door if he doesnt retire and Aqib may be in jail next season if not let go by the new regime. Without those 2 we are the absolute worst secondary in the league, wast too far off with them. Lewis, Biggers and Mack are awful.

It all depends on the off-season right now. In about a month, when the first week of free agency is done, these conversations will have more weight. Cleveland may land Flynn and Vincent Jackson, or could trade their extra pick for DeSean Jackson, and then go corner. Or other options.

Like the Redskins, for the Browns to move anything but two firsts and a player is a stupid decision. Too many holes elsewhere, even in a quarterback driven league.

Yea, I googled Manningham to the Bucs after I read your previous post, I havent been up on our offseason plans. I totally expect to land some FA's land with uur GM, Mark Dominick, feeling the heat after cleaning house and seemingly scrapping the "build through the draft and disregard FA" approach. With you having to spend a certain amount and us having a bunch of money we really dont have a choice but to pick up some veterans. Hope we can land Brandon Carr.

Tampa Bay just hired Ron Cooper, LSU's DB coach. That doesn't necessarily mean they will take Claiborne, but it probably makes it a little more likely.

The 2nd worst team in the league cannot afford to spend a 1st overall and a 2nd overall in the span of 2-3 years on a QB. Let alone considering Bradford's humongous contract they can't get rid of even if they wanted to.

Yep, when Seattle hired Pete Carrol they were more likely to sign Matt Leinart, and draft Taylor Mays right?

A defensivebacks coach will have ZERO bearing on if a front office decides to draft one specific CB. If it was a General Manager who won for years with a player on another team then maybe... or a head coach in the same situation. No positional coach will ever influence a team enough to draft a specific player.

With the Redskins offer going public I don't think it will be devalued much. They are openly shopping it but I am sure that they are sitting there still telling teams they are prepared to A) Sit and take who they want or B) trade that pick to a division rival of an interested team

Its not a silent auction...each team knows the price they'll have to pay.

They'll come out of this with two first rounders (one of which is no more than 4 picks away from where they'd pick now) and a plethora of mid-round picks. The trade for Eli is a good guide, plus, I might add a few pieces in there.

If the Redskins offer is as high as it is...I really highly doubt many of these rebuilding teams like Cleveland, Miami, etc pay that many picks to move up that far in relation to what the Redskins and their crazy ass owner do.

IMO Cleveland would be better served to stay put at 4, take Richardson, keep their 22nd pick as well and not waste draft picks moving up to get RGIII when if they suck again next year's QB class looks to be really solid anyways.

If the Redskins want to be stupid and overpay that's fine but I realyl don't think the stupidity will be contagious to other teams so to speak.
