I haven't played any of them (I know Twigg has), but I plan on buying Nightmare in Northpoint and Year of the Snake.

The story DLC takes place after the end of the main story right? And isn't Year of the Snake the martial arts competition that Bruce Lee and Jim Kelly go to in Enter the Dragon? Sounds badass.

Year of the Snake is the one that takes place right after the main game. Nightmare in Northpoint is some horror-themed mini story.

I haven't played any of them (I know Twigg has), but I plan on buying Nightmare in Northpoint and Year of the Snake.

The two that Swarley mentioned are the best. Wheels of Fury and Zodiac Tournament are pretty good but they don't have any trophies (if you care). Those two are both short but fun, Wheels of Fury especially since you get a bad ass fucking car by the end of it. Zodiac is the fighting tournament one and is set up like an old 70's kung fu movie.

As far as the other stuff, the Police Protection pack is nice as well. It comes with cool police vehicle and a bunch of police related side missions if you're into that stuff. It was originally a Gamestop pre-order bonus I believe.

You just missed the sale they had the other week. I think they had a version that came with all the DLC (or at least most of it) for like $20 I believe.

Went ahead and downloaded the free gift DLC's and then picked up the Zodiac Tournament, The Year of the Snake, and the Deep Undercover DLC's.

Will probably pick up the Nightmare one at some point, it's entirely separate from the story right? Fucking love this game. :fap:

Yeah, Nightmare in Northpoint is a completely separate side story. It can get repetitive with the combat but it's still fun and pretty funny too.

And yes, the game is awesome.

I'd love to know how it sold. According to a bunch of people on CAG it didn't sell well, which is a damn shame. I know that when I picked up my copy at Best Buy they still had a few copies that came with the GSP DLC (which is pretty worthless, and I just grabbed a regular one because the box was in the best shape) which was for first run copies only. Not a good sign when a game is almost a year old and there are still first run copies on shelves in stores.

Just finished the main story, and this game is fantastic. The next time there's a sale on the DLC, I'll be getting those.

Annnnnnd, Year of The Snake is done. Pretty solid DLC. The best of the bunch I would say.

Since YotS is post story then it definitely doesn't open up until after the main story is complete, but I thought the Zodiac tourney would open up earlier? Of course I didn't buy it until after I was done with the story anyway. Have you done any of the dojo stuff yet? Maybe it is post story?
I found a walkthrough that says that they don't recommend you start it until at least halfway through the main story but nothing about when it actually shows up. I do know you will get a call from someone on your cell telling you about a mysterious fighting tournament and that you need to take a ferry to an island to get to it.

I just fired up my Xbox copy. Because I just played the PS3 version as recently as last night I'm already making comparisons. The audio seems muted (no surprise since it's probably compressed) and there seem to be textures lading like crazy, at least in the cut scenes anyway. I never noticed that on PS3. Graphics in the cut scenes also don't seem as sharp either, especially shadows. There seems to be some screen tearing as well. The actual game seems to look as good as PS3 though.

Interesting considering how every professional outlet that I can remember reviewed the 360 version at release. :smh:

So it turns out I'm just an idiot and forgot to install the Zodiac Tournament DLC after downloading it.. So I started it up even though it warned me I should get more upgrades first. I proceeded to breeze right through it. Was it entertaining? Sure. Was it worth whatever it was I spent on it? Not really. Should you buy it? Probably not.

Zodiac tournament is what you call a bruce lee fans heaven in video games. Was fun, but really short. Don't know if I'd buy it again though either. Same goes for some of the dlc like the Monkey King. But the Drunken boxing one is cool, allowed me to live out my Jackie Chan game fantasy a bit.

It's hard to argue with $4 but I agree it was still light on content. It starts out so cool with the 70's movie vibe and then never really goes anywhere with it. Plus, not having any trophies is just bullshit. They even include 10 collectibles to find around the island, but what's the motivation? I found them all because I'm a completionist but it was just a big waste of time.

I actually think the Wheels of Fury, Police Protection and YotS are the best DLCs. WoF could've been longer and should've had trophies too, but it doesn't.

They could have done a whole lot more with the set up that's for sure. AT LEAST have a Jim Kelly parody character, lol. But like you said, it was $4...

Now I know why I had no problems fully leveling my Triad and Face meters on PS3 but couldn't hit level 10 Triad. There are soooooo many more police missions in this game. I wish there were more Traid specific side missions.

The more I play the 360 version the more I think it looks just as good as PS3, if not a bit brighter. It definitely loads quicker, at least initially at the main menu. When the game boots "Continue Game" appears almost immediately. on PS3 it always seemed to take quite a while for that option to load.

Fuck this game is great. I'm so glad I got it to play through it again. Just met Uncle Po and then started the missions for the Ho guy that owns the impound lot.
