Can someone get Santana Moss away from there so that he can be useful to the NFL again?

1. The difference is Aaron has IMO the best receiving corp in the NFL. Jennings, Jones, Finlay, Driver, Nelson & etc. You can't compare the two receiving corps Randle El, Moss, Thomas Kelly, Cooley & Davis. Like you said the run game has helped the Packers.

2. A lot of games were close games Dallas won by 1, Philly by 3, Chiefs by 3, Saints by 3, Lions by 6. Those games were close field goals would have most of them they couldn't afford to play prevent dfense like that.

First, the difference is that Aaron Rodgers is a better quarterback than Jason Campbell. Aaron Rodgers is an arguable Top Five quarterback. Jason Campbell should be worried that Todd Collins doesn't bench him. You also make it seem as if the two receiving cores are eons apart from each other when that is far from the case. The Skins have one of the best tight ends in the game and a receiver who can be Pro Bowl caliber in Santana Moss. The Skins are sprinkled with decent receivers in a potentially good passing game. The problem is that your quarterback is Charles Barkley turrible and couldn't throw a baseball 20 yards, nevermind a football.

Devin Hester scored 13 TD's that season alone Chicago had more weapons that Washington this year.

Chris Cooley recieved double coverage whenever he played.


When Clinton Portis was in the game, all teams played the run a lot more than they played the pass.


In the redzone, especially near the end of the season, opposing teams were trying to key in on Fred Davis and Moss.



Redskins have the players to makes plays. They need a QB who doesn't overthrow a 5 yard RB screen pass to make those plays happen though.

Devin Hester has never scored 13 TD's in one season. Ever. The most he has ever scored in a season is 8(2007). 6 of those were kick returns and 2 were TD passes.....one of them thrown by Brian Griese and the other thrown by Kyle Orton. Rex Grossman has never thrown Devin Hester a TD pass and in 2006 Hester never even caught a pass.

Jason Campbell has raw natural talent to be a QB. I don't see how he's developed at all since his rookie year, however. IMO, he looks like a rookie out there every year. Making careless mistakes every single game. He doesn't learn from his mistakes and that's a big problem.


Again though, you are making the argument that stats equal a good QB. I have a few statistics for you.

-As a starting QB, Jason Campbell is 20-32.

-When Jason Campbell throws the ball 30+ times in a game, the redskins are 6-22 including 1-7 this season (only win coming against the STL rams). 5 of those wins came from the 2008 season when the skins went 6-2 to start.



Is this a coincidence? I think not.

The passer rating includes completion percentage, TD to INT ratio, passing yards, yards per average and etc. those are on the QB what he did and what he didn't do. You provided his 20-32 overall which is true but the defense & special teams has to play a part in that. if the defense doesn't gives up a touchdown to Tony Romo at the end of the Dallas game and the Suisham doesn't miss the field goal to increase the lead to 9-0. Jason could be 21-31 overall but that's not on Jason he doesn't kick or play defense. The passer rating is the QB's body of work if he is to careless and turns it over it reflects on his passer rating his rating goes down. if he misses so many wide open receivers "Jason" his completion percentage is effected and his passer rating goes down. His overall doesn't reflect LaRon & Carlos getting burn for last minute TD's right. If Jason throws a pick last minute it does reflect plus we are not judging the defense performance only the quarterback. If Peyton, Brees, Brady & Farve get there performance evaluated use the passer rating why can't Jason?

They win when Campbell doesn't touch the ball and that's not a coincidence. He makes dumb mistakes which change the course of a game. He kills all momentum the Redskins get in a game.
