Anyone who doesn't think Vick at his best is a top 10 QB is kidding themselves. Despite what people say he was a serviceable QB and a possesses a higher win % than Drew Brees or Jay Cutler.

He was not Top 10 when he was in the NFL. At anytime during Vick's career I could easily name ten qb's I would rather have than him and it's not even close.

Only thing he was lacking was accuracy, and that is coachable. Let's not forget he had Greg "I Will Get My Head Coach Fired" Knapp as his coordinator.

Bull. Vick's accuracy was never coachable because Vick refused to be coached. He never cared. Hence why even as a 6 year NFL vet Vick still was not allowed to call audibles at the LOS. Matt Ryan was calling audibles in Week 8.

There's a dichotomy in that statement. An elite NFL arm must be accurate. Accuracy is the most important facet after fast [sound] decision making and leadership, no?

LOL at calling Vick a playoff winning QB. He has the same record as Rex Grossman(2-2), and Grossman has been to a Super Bowl as a starter. Vick has not.

Vick doesn't even have a winning record in the playoffs. So how is he a playoff winning QB? Simply because he won a game?

Steve Walsh is a "playoff winning QB" too then.

IMO, the biggest issue Vick faced during his playing days was coaches trying to fit a square peg into a round hole.

Vick's coaches did everything to allow him to pass the ball. He played in an down the field passing attack, a West Coast system. Everything. Still he never showed to be coachable. Ever.

There are some pretty big name QBs, obviously will all know vick isn't the best, no one has ever argued he is the best QB... but when you throw those numbers out how can you argue he is one of the worst or below avg..

B/c no one ever argued that. Vick was an average QB. That's it. Not worst or below average. An average. One. Where the hell did anyone say he was one of the worst or below average? I seriously think Vick fanboys can't read or have some filter on their brains that changes evaluations into "Vick sucks"

Generally I think Vick supporters tend to overrate him while Vick detractors tend to underrate him when in reality Vick was somewhere in the middle. Vick wasn’t a great passer and didn’t win as much as his supporters would like to believe, but he also shouldn't be compared to marginal backups or guys who never played a down in the league. Vick may not have had the passing stats, but there was no denying his ability as a playmaker. He simply made plays, which made opposing teams have to account for him. Vick was an exceptional runner and his passing ability was good enough where teams had to respect it. From a fan perspective when a play broke down (sometimes due to Vick and other times not) Vick was just fun to watch.
