Santana Moss is Washington's biggest threat at wide receiver.

The 5-5 Washington Redskins will be traveling to Lincoln Financial Field to play against the 7-3 Philadelphia Eagles.

The Eagles are without their best offensive weapon, Brian Westbrook. LeSean McCoy and Tatum Bell will be sharing the load for Philadelphia, and if they can't establish a run game the Redskins could surprise the Birds.

The Eagles defense will need to really step up considering that the offense might have trouble moving the ball up the field. If Donovan McNabb and Michael Vick do their part the Eagles should be able to handle the Redskins.​

Recap:

The Eagles played their first game with LeSean McCoy, and the rookie showed that he might be able to carry the load. McCoy and backup Tatum Bell combined for 100 yards on 26 carries, while Michael Vick also rushed for 18 yards. Philadelphia's defense is what really impressed today, completely shutting Washington out. Joselio Hanson intercepted his first pass of the year, while Juqua Parker added two more sacks to his already enormous sack total. The Eagles had no problems with the Redskins, but next weekend they will face the young and talented Atlanta Falcons.

DeSean Jackson will miss seven weeks due to a broken collarbone.

In yesterday's game against the Washington Redskins, Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson caught four passes for 60 receiving yards. However, Jackson went down during the fourth quarter.

Team doctors analyzed the injury and diagnosed Jackson with a broken collarbone. He will miss an estimated seven weeks.

Jackson was second on the team in receptions with 45, and first in receiving yards with 674 and in touchdowns with four. Jackson was also the team's punt returner, averaging 11 yards per return.

In two games the Eagles lost Brian Westbrook and DeSean Jackson to injury, arguably the offense's biggest weapons. The Eagles will need to find a way to keep their sharp play up without the help of these two stars.​

This game will be Michael Vick's first time back in the Georgia Dome since his arrest two years ago. Vick will most likely see more action than usual today for this reason.

The Eagles' offense is missing weapons Brian Westbrook and DeSean Jackson, so if Atlanta's defense can contain what's left of the Philadelphia offense the Falcons could surprise the Eagles.

Both Michael Vick and the Falcons organization want to beat eachother very badly. Both teams will be giving it their all out there this weekend.​

Recap:

The booes rained down on Eagles quarterback Michael Vick the moment he walked on to the field of the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. The booes turned to cheers when Vick threw an interception to Falcons' free safety William Moore. The cheers returned to their boo form when Vick found an opening and ran the ball in to endzone, acknowledging all the Falcons fans around him with a point to the stands. Overall, Michael Vick did not have a spectacular game by any means. The Eagles were actually carried by Donovan McNabb and LeSean McCoy. The Falcons stayed strong the entire game too, fighting until the very last minute when they couldn't punch the ball into the endzone on fourth down. The Eagles barely defeated Atlanta, and they have a division matchup against the New York Giants awaiting them next week.

The young and talented San Francisco 49ers traveled to the opposite side of the country to play against the Philadelphia Eagles, who were coming off of a crushing defeat against the New York Giants.

The Eagles used their powerful offense to speed pass the Niners, with the running back tandem of LeSean McCoy and Tatum Bell and quarterbacks Donovan McNabb and Michael Vick both playing well. Philadelphia's defense also looked good today, limiting San Francisco to just ten points.

The 49ers lost their biggest offensive threat in Frank Gore to a first quarter knee injury, and quarterback Shaun Hill failed to deliver a legitimate passing attack. The Niners just couldn't compete with the Eagles on any levels.
