i have to say i thought rogers was getting Zulu'd but he gave fedor a fight. i thought he was using his weight advantage very well until he got knocked into next week

Wow, amazing night of fights and by far the best card of the year at this point. My only complaint is that I would have liked to have seen the walk-ins for the main event. But, man what a great fight, I was really impressed with Rogers and definitely believe he'll walk away the champ should they grant him his rematch. The striking game went how I thought it would, minus Rogers being dropped, but what surprised me was his ground game. With that said I don't see Fedor beating a more confident and experienced Rogers.

Best card for Strikeforce or MMA in general?
Rogers did very well, I thought. I didn't think he'd get Zulu'd, but whether it was going to be quick or not...? Rogers was smart to use the cage, as Fedor clearly didn't seem comfortable being pinned up against it. Rogers also laid in some nice GnP for a moment and looked like he had Fedor in trouble. I still thought Fedor won the first round, but it was close.

MMA in general, as far as the entertainment value. I know they didn't have the biggest names from top to bottom, but every fight was a great matchup and they all delivered. It would have been nice to see Shields land some more devasting blows, but the wrestling and jiu jitsu displayed was really top notch and made that fight a fun watch. Not to mention fighting at that pace for 5 rounds without showing any serious signs of fatigue, gotta give them some props for that as well.

How did Fedor win the first round?
Rogers coming into a rematch with more development and confidence would make a difference. But so would Fedor having more time to train in a cage and gain more experience with dirty boxing.
