2. Hiring Buckeye as admin.
1. Choosing to pass at the goal line with 20 seconds left with Marshawn Lynch in the backfield.

Given the personell, the situation, the insane momentum after a miracle play ,the possibility of an allowed TD to give Brady the ball. It's the worst call I've ever seen or heard of in Football or sports.
Russell not audibling out will haunt him forever. Lynch should be repulsed. Is it possible there was some stupid ego call to spite Lynch ? There's just no football reason to call that play.

Glad I'm not the only nut job. Deion and Faulk hinted but Irvin came right out and said that play call seemed like it was made to made Russell a hero and take that away from Lynch.

What I was thinking, KOF. Hard to tell your fans the guy who makes your O go to 2 SB's is no longer needed in the offseason. I wonder in the back of my mind if that wasn't going into their thinking on that play call. Now they've shown to a greater degree the value of Beast Mode. Regardless, worst call in NFL history.

Pete Carrol's explanations @ the end of the game makes you wonder how in the world his leadership has garnished so many trophies.

He's trying to "waste" a play & take time of the clock w/a quick slant. That takes 2 seconds. How does that kill time? If it's incomplete, the clock stops. How does that kill time? If it's complete, it's a TD, the play isn't wasted & once more, the clock stops. The only way to accomplish what he claims he was trying to do is take a flippin' knee.

I said that right after the play as well. The only reason for that play call is to make Wilson the hero and MVP of the game. Instead, he looked like the average QB that tossed 4 picks against the Packers in the conference championship game a couple of weeks ago.

Seahawks got out-coached

One play makes all the difference. I thought Seattle outsmarted NE and even made a gutsy pre halftime call to go for it. The only thing NE did particularly well in matchup was the trips WR single TE package. The chargers Gates ate up the Seahawks and Cowboys got 2 huge plays from it. NE lined up Gronk numerous times and ended up with man covg on a LB for huge plays at least 3 times. But outside of that Seattle seemed to have the edge in decision making and play calling.....then ..... wow....egos a bitch.
