I'm not a big Lil Wayne fan either, but my friend told me he's a huge Packer fan, and that was before the Super Bowl run. Apparently he's always wearing Packer hats in his videos and stuff.

Lil Wayne has been open about his support of the Packers for years. He was a huge Favre fan before the debacle and remained a Packers fan through it. The song you posted is being played about 5 times a night in every club in Green Bay. Go Pack Go chants get pretty crazy at the end of the song.

I was skeptical about Lil Wayne too until I found the article (NOTE: I tried for a while to find this direct link, im 95% sure it came from this site, but honestly, its the internet, i dont give THAT much of a shit) that talked about how he became a Packer fan.
He grew up in NOLA, yes, but, his dad worked concessions at the Superbowl that Favre won. Cups and plates were brought home, and they were hella broke, so Wayne grew up with those GB cups and plates and stuff.
Furthermore, he didn't want to be one of those little bitches who supports a team when its winning - he didnt want to jump on the Saints bandwagon, even though they won and he was from there - which I hella respect because im from LA and I fucking hate the Lakers, I'm not taking the easy way out because they won the last 2 just cuz I was born there.
so fck yeah, i have never posted a lil wayne video to my facebook before and i probably never will again, but I accept him wholeheartedly. as an orphaned football fan, I respect his also orphaned football fanness.
