"Best game of the year" from a fans perspective at home watching the game on their TV, maybe.

The Super Bowl is a whole other animal. You don't just take into account if the players are going to be affected. The people that paid top dollar to be there in person mean something. And you worry about the on the field product, you're going to produce.

I don't know, call me a homer but I'd rather see Manning throw for 8 TDs and 500 yards in a sunny Super Bowl, rather then Marshawn Lynch rushing for 200 yards in a windy cold one.

Seriously this is the NFL if your team isn't built to deal with inclement weather you are begging for problems in the playoffs.
There's a reason dome teams took 999 years to win a SB.

Baseball teams don't just up and move the game somewhere else when Boston hosts a windy 35 degree world series game and those MLB fuckers run into the dugout at the first rain drops. The premise that sports have to be played in surgical environments is sickening.

Lmfao, because we all know the MLB has never postponed a playoff game... Fail!

Super Bowl Sunday doesn't have the luxury of being postponed, and the product would suffer in a game decided by weather.

Add in the fact that billions of dollars are pumped into to this game from advertisements, merchandise and everything else that goes along with pretty much being the most watched thing all year long in the country!

It's called sports ENTERTAINMENT for a reason.

Vegas thought Brady would keep pace with Manning and company and that didn't happen... Broncos covered easy. Just sayin!

And personally I don't think Seattle has everything they need to slow down Manning. Unfortunately for the Seahawks Sherman doesn't play every CB spot.

my family has a chance to get 2 SB tickets since the game is being held in metlife stadium and we are giants season ticket holders. gonna be put in some sort of lottery and most likely not get them again.
 
I think Peyton and company win this game 27-17. Seattle does have a good defense but the Broncos just have too many weapons. Sherman will be distracted by Vince McMahon's offer to headline Wrestlemania 30.
 
the problem for Seattle is their offense is weak. Denver has a terrible passing defense, but seattle wont be able to take advantage of it. The only way this is a good, close game is if their is snowfall during the game.

Denver wins this by 2 or more TD's in a game that is a snoozer
