If Orton lowers the contract demands, Miami would be a nice spot for him.

All Miami needs is "average" QB play and they could make the playoffs. Orton is just the right kind of average the Dolphins needs. I read the Dolphins wanted to pay a fourth but would be willing to pay a third without the ridiculous contract. The Broncos were begging for a second but no deal.

Orton would be great in Miami and I'm praying he can still end up there somehow. I already know how it'll end if he gets stuck in Denver.

FWIW though I think the Kolb trade (and his subsequent contract) are hurting the deal more than what draft picks Mia is offering. Orton thinks he should be paid more than Kolb and doesn't see the point in taking a shit salary when he can just cake in Denver and beat anyone out for the starting job.
