I thought Juwan Howard retired/was dead. He's 38.
Jamaal Magloire is probably laughing his ass off thinking he's on vacation. He's 32... and irrelevant.
Jerry Stackhouse doesn't matter anymore. He's 36.
Carlos Arroyo apparently was the winner of LeBatard's "Run The Point Night". He's 31... according to his green card.
Eddie House was the second runner-up; too bad he just jacks up threes all game. He's 32.

This whole situation is hilarious at this point. One of the major concerns was not who would step up but who would step aside and now we find out neither LeBron or Wade is really willing to take full control of the team.

It's also from a basketball sense, what I was saying all along. Wade and LeBron both need the ball to be effective. Neither are high percentage jump shooters and thus have difficulty playing off the ball.

People can point to all the intangibles they want and all that stuff, but the team doesn't make basketball sense. T

he Haslem and Miller injuries played a huge factor in this team as well. With Mike Miller the floor is spaced so much better than it is with James Jones or Eddie House.

Why is this roster so fucking old and... unproductive?

The idea was to surround the big 3 with veterans and win titles right now. Plus most of these guys came at a discount, because they wanted to play for what looked like a legendary team and steal a ring or two.

Howard - just a veteran guy trying to teal a ring, no different than late career John Salley with the Bulls/Lakers or Mitch Richmond with the Lakers who never played.

Magloire - the team doesnt have C, and this was a former All Star who gets a chance every year to fail with a new team.

Stackhouse - see Howard, but I thought they thought they could get a little something out of him.

Arroyo - like C, they have no PG. I'm sure they'd love to upgrade, but havent been able to.

House - House was brought in for the same reason Miller was brought in, to extend the defense and create space. More of a volume shooter than Miller, but the same concept. He's been a role player on other good teams.

You serious? LeBron has shown up more than Wade has so far.

That's the biggest problem with this team. Wade still is convinced he's the best player on the Heat.. when he figures out LeBron is much better than Wade, and that this team will be much better if it goes through LeBron.. the Heat will take off.

Until then? They'll continue to look ridiculous and get blown out by lesser opponents.

Well the thing that is making me so mad is that while still a lousy playoff team, this team was a playoff team nonetheless last year. I have said from before FA even started this year I just want Wade back, and Boozer or Bosh and some role players. I was against LeBron, then I started to open up to it. But I watch almost every one of their games (some I'm busy for) and just some of the things LeBron does, the ridiculous passes he tries to make that cost the team points etc are starting to piss me off. The shoulder check with Spoel is beyond childish, and the let's just have fun aspect is not how you win games, they have to work hard to be good, they have to become a team. Wade knows, and if Bosh and LeBron are unhappy right now just WAIT for Pat Riley to come in and shit all over their "fun".

I know it's early and a lot of media attention will be brought to this team, I never said they would win right away, and def not this year, their win/loss is not something I care about right now, the part that's making mad is the attitude, that it seems they aren't in any hurry to try and become a better team, they can all be all-star players but still a mediocre team if they don't work hard to step up to the ridiculous expectations... and they aren't seeming to even try to work harder. I'm not turning on my team, still buying them, but I'm selling their attitude right now, funny how a fan of any other team can say how one of their players is playing like shit and nobody says anything, but a Heat fan says they are playing like shit and now I'm completely turning on the team? :smh:
