Frankly, the fact that he reported an 'assumption' as a 'fact' should be enough for him to lose whatever credibility he had. To then say 'I didn't think to call the NFL for comment' and 'I hope someone else figures this out' is the epitome of Peter King. Calling him a journalist is a farce. He holds most of Skip Bayless' opinions but hides them behind anonymous sources so as to try and remain neutral

There is a thing called proportional response. Rice was in no danger of being hurt by his fiance pushing him. For him to uppercut her like that is unjustifiable. She could have easily been killed when her head struck the hand rail in the elevator.

Rice must go now. Then we need to know what did the commissioner know and when did he know it.

Where did I say it was justifiable? All I'm pointing out is this is what happens 99% of the time when you hit someone. You hit, you get hit. Rice should be punished. As I said elsewhere here, the DA is who everyone should have a prob w/. Both should have been in jail. But all this outrage is amazing. As if you didn't already surmise what happened in that elevator before the vid came out. And what I said about the NFL conduct policy holds true once more. They aren't punishing the crime. They are motivated by public reaction. That ain't justice.
