It was from the Daily Mail and I saw one in the telegraph aswell. [i've never spoke to anybody around here who thinks we have money to spend]

Campbell being signed is not my big problem... my problem is older players who are past their best getting meaningful playing time when younger guys could be taking it.

I couldn't have been more happy with our Gosling signing and even though I know very little about Perch, at least we know he is young and highly thought of by most scouts.

Well we obviously have some money, considering we spent 1mil on Perch, and somewhere around 4mil last January. Not a lot or anything, but some.

I don't think signing a young, inexperienced centerback to help keep us up is the best idea. It'll only be a season of time he takes away, and I'd rather have his experience than another Mike Williamson. Not that Sol is going to save us, but he should be okay.

The Daily Mail is showing a ton of articles on the signing. One of which is the Newcastle Evening Chronicle.

Sol might actually be slower than Carragher and that's one hell of a feat. I don't see how anyone can defend the guy after he signs for a League 1 side and then simply walks out on them.

Not defending him as a person, just think he's a decent signing for our current situation.

Wat? Raul and Sam Allardyce? Nothing about that is good, nor would it ever happen.

Why? Who would have thought Salgado would move from Madrid to Blackburn? Raul is too old to be considered a viable option for most clubs, especially when you take into account the new player rules which go into effect this year.

A lot of people are too old for most clubs; Giggs, Scholes, Campbell, but they keep getting playing time because of their name. There's a big difference between Salgado and Raul, one being possibly the biggest legend at possibly the biggest club. He's not going to want to go to Blackburn of all places to play with the anti-Christ of football when he's got options in better cities and teams that will suit him better.

All three of those players, are defenders or holding mids, Allardyce's main choice of masturbating material. It's a completely different thing for them to sign on than Raul, a forward...who scores goals, goals being the antithesis of Allardyce's hardons. And it's over anyway, Daily Mail once again completely off by claiming he could sign for Newcastle or Blackburn, not a chance.

Becuase those three are defensive players, as opposed to Raul who had/has some sort of flair, and wouldn't be signing up for a team that's going to hack it down the field.
