The winter window

Heitinga may be on the move.

The Netherlands international has only made eight league starts this season, with Toffees boss David Moyes favouring Phil Jagielka and Sylvain Distin in the centre of his defence in recent weeks.

It is a far cry from seven months ago, when the 29-year-old picked up the club's player of the season award and there were rumours earlier in the season that he was close to signing a new deal at Goodison Park.

However, with the January transfer window rapidly approaching Heitinga's agent Rob Jansen confirmed the defender is not happy with his current situation at the club.

Turkish side Fenerbahce were one of the sides linked with a move for Heitinga in the summer and Jansen admits the player would seriously consider any offers that come in.

"Heitinga is definitely not happy with what it happening at Everton and we don't hide that," he told Dutch radio station VI Radio.

"He is looking at a solution. When an appropriate situation arises for a transfer, we will certainly not ignore it."

That will hurt more than Ba. NUFC stuck by Colo when he was a fucking train wreck back when he arrived. He developed in to a very good player while in the Championship and has carried it on since then. He's been hurt and had some bad luck with cards this year, just doesn't seem to have got it going
 
Looks like Vegard Forren is set for a medical with Liverpool tomorrow. Strange considering United and Everton have been trailing him with no link from Liverpool prior.

Seems like solid business from us, see if he can play first. Is the deal basically he wants to play for us and is willing to risk it by practicing with us, rather than just signing straight up for Southampton? It seems like a rare occurence especially when you consider its a decent transfer fee for him.
 
United were given a heads up by Ole about this kid a while ago, but nothing ever came of it. Apparently he can play. Last I saw Fulhams name was in the mix too.

Just saw that M'Villa said he would go to QPR too. Damn, one of the hottest young properties in Europe at one time. Anxious to see if its true.
 
Word is he wants to be first choice and you can't blame him. Hope he enjoys the Championship next season.

There probably is. I guess it's a good way to get exposure in the Prem and to put your talents on display, accepting an offer from a relegation threatened club that is.
