Being incredibly gutsy doesn't mean anything if you don't have the strength to bull over guys like you did in college.

It's the same thing with Tebow. Yeah, right now it appears he's got great size and strength because he's bowling over guys at UCLA. Different story in the pros. I think he'll be solid but he's not going to be a top-tier back in this league. He doesn't have that explosiveness that is necessary in the pro game.

Only reason you're comparing Leonard to Gerhart is because their white RB's. Leonard was by far more athletic then Gerhart.

RB's don't need breakaway speed. Gerhart broke by defenders plenty, but it wasn't because of speed, it was because he'd end up bowling over the defenders, instead of making them miss.

He's gonna end up being a short yardage guy more then likely.

No, I'm comparing him to Leonard because multiple reputable NFL draft scout sources compare him to Leonard.

But clearly they are out of their minds.

He's only going to be a short yardage guy but let's compare him to twice consecutive 1,000 runner that's twice his size. Great. Brandon Jacobs: 6'4 264 lbs. Gerhart: 6'1 235 lbs. That's an apt comparison. Now how about the guy he's definitely not like? Leonard: 6'1 226 lbs.
